Dear Sir/Madam,

I have the pleasure to brief you on our Data Visualization software
"Trend Compass".

TC is a new concept in viewing statistics & trends in an animated way
by displaying in one chart 5 axis (X, Y, Time, Bubble size & Bubble
color) instead of just the traditional X and Y axis. Discover trends
hidden in spreadsheets. It could be used in analysis, research,
presentation etc. In different business sectors, to name a few we
have Deutsche Bank, NBC Universal, RIM, Vanguard Institutional
Investor, Ipsos, Princeton University as our clients.

You can download a trial version. It has a feature to export
EXE,PPS,HTML and AVI files. The most impressive is the AVI since you
can record Audio/Video for the charts you create.

Please give technology a chance. Please pay attention to what is offered and its potential.

#1 You are not buying a cyber object, you are buying a credit with a store, its representation format has changed from plastic to your smartphone screen.

#2 Do you use debit or credit cards or even checks? Have you heard of EFTs? well, they are all cyber objects after the point you hand the cash to someone, its just a digit moving around with no real cash transfer taking place. this is the same concept.

#3 Plastic, is made from oil. An environmentally destructive and increasingly scarce and expensive commodity. Paper cards are also made of trees. They use more plastic and paper for packaging and they eventually cost a lot of money in physical transportation and printing. They overall cost more than a cyber card and are far more damaging to the environment and a waste of our precious limited resources on earth.

They are as guaranteed and as honored as old school gift cards. It's just that YOU, as the consumer, have to keep your eyes and ears open, read terms and conditons and be aware of who you are dealing with and how much you can trust them. I have seen coupons not honored, good old clipped paper coupons. I have seen advertised prices not honored, newspaper ads. So, medium, has nothing to do with worrying about acceptance of such items. He who issues, however has everything to do with standing behind his word no matter in what form or shape it may be in.

Now, why wouldn't you let your insecurities stay silent behind the logic and reason, do yourself, the retailers and gift card issuers, and the enviroment a favor and save a lot of bad things from happening and buy a e-gift card. remember e-mail? e-commerce? e-black friday aka cyber monday? well, they are all worth billions of dollars in economic activity now and he who doesn't use them stands to lose a lot more in life in means of wasted time and energy and more expensive and harder lifestyle, not to mention how obsolete and out of touch or OLD people will consider one who intentionally avoids learning or using new, reliable useful and helpful technologies.

Sure, you have the right. But that dont mean anythin. We all have the right to put a gun on our heads and pull the trigger too whenever it all gets too hard. does that mean we should. So think more along the lines of self-interest and winning instead of letting your emotions and unfounded fears decide.

No thank you. I don't spend money for cyber objects. I only spend money on objects that I can touch and/or hold.
