- I live in the Lansing, MI area and I see this as a big problem. I see young people who get into this life by mistake because they do not have the guidance to know what else to do. This news clip is accurate in stating that you can't just throw these people back on the street. They need help to know how to get out of this situation - especially the younger men, who may drop out of high school, or graduate and then get involved in petty crimes. I am unaware of any programs in this area, but I would like to know how to help these people, or know whether there is some type of program here in Michigan for these people.
