Our friends and neighbors are Republicans, and they are Democrats. We may not all agree on specific issues, but we all have a common interest in having government that works well and is generally perceived as fair, even if we don't get what we want. Doesn't matter whether you agree with Walker's policies or want to recall him. We should ALL be dismayed by a governor that in less than one year angered one out of every four adults in the state so much that they want to get rid of him. Making a few people mad is normal in politics. Making 25% of the population angry enough to fire you is not normal.

Putting aside completely the issues of budgets, unions, and so on, it's clear that a million citizens of Wisconsin feel very strongly that their governor is not acting as an elected official should. Whatever Walker's agenda, it's sad that he is so appallingly bad at leading a participatory, representative democracy, and that he has such contempt for citizens who disagree with him.

Let's see how this anti-government government worker likes it when his state rises up against him. This Saturday, rallies in support of our workers in all 50 state capitals.

Oh, and Tea Bag Klan governors: stop giving away the workers earnings to your evil rich corporate masters and there will be PLENTY of money left.
