Another case where all the prosecutor cares about is their conviction rate & not if they have the right person. When the judge reviewed the case & saw that Josh was so blatantly railroaded he didn't order a new trial, he freed him right there, which rarely happens. Even with that, the ex-prosecutor still can't man up & admit he was wrong & stole 16 years from Josh for nothing. Josh has such a loving, forgiving spirit. It's amazing he's able to walk away from this without bitterness & hate toward the crooked dirt bag ex-prosecutor. Bless you Josh. I hope they convict the real killer soon so the family can finally have justice.

I hate to say it but I think the boy friend Leon did it. I doubt they passionately made love after he caught her cruising with other dudes.

Kezer...I know you have endured a hard past and it is horrible that you stayed in jail for 16 years, but on the bright side you got million of dollars, loving family, spiritual support group, and a beautiful relationship with Jesus. RIP poor girl

From the very beginning of the video. I thought it was the police officer that killed her. He says, I have a feeling I put the wrong man in jail. WTh.. I find that very odd for him to say that.

I find it odd how people always say ... " This was a COLD blodded murder " Uh well I myself have never heard of a murder that wasn't. I've never heard of a murder that was done with love. And seeing as we are warm blooded the statement only makes less sense to me.

i feel for michelles family/friends what an awful horrific monsterous thing to do to someone esp guys onto a girl. there is something about the 'smirk'on leons face i get the feeling he knows and so do both the abbott boys they all had long hair back then and thats what the witness said a car full of long haired 'latino' boys. i think leon and michelle fought that night when leon said 'we had sex and said our goodbyes' he looked directly to the left...lie!! as for the twinsit maybe that it was mat who shot her so his brother says he found her i mean not long after her death they were sentenced for drug dealing they were all high and i dnt doubt for a second that lon beat michele and one f the twins shot her to finish her off so she couldnt identify them. she was hot in the face she was shot three times to make sure she would never talk. i dnt believe the title to be correct 'the girl who knew too much' more like ' the girl whos jelous boyfriend beat her and then watched her get shot to death' i could tell keezer hadnt done it this basically a small town the then sheriff probably had his hands in many pies including the abbots the whole case was a disgrace i really hope they find out who done this and for everyone to be lying about the abbots (from the mouth of abbot) thats bull theres no smoke without fire why would that gun shop owner lie and say abbot said 'i sorted that ***** out' thats the only bit of truth out of abbots mouth in his life probably.

It is very clear what happened. The title is not, "The girl who knew too much" it is, "Rejected Love". If the family wants the whole truth they will have to offer the boyfriend complete immunity from prosecution. Then they will get most of the story. It goes something like this:

The boyfriend, Leon, got rejected that night, big time. She had been out that night and had been seen by him with other guys. She knew he saw her and knew he was upset so she goes to his house to talk before going home. She gets there and Abbott is there as well. (He had been in their circle of friends as she admits she had an eye for him). (They guys have probably been drinking). But she was here to talk to her boyfriend. They argue and even Abbott gets a little frothy because she is so independent and telling off her boyfriend and maybe tells him off too and to stay out of their business. She is confident with her physical abilities and feels she can stand up for herself. "Fearless", her girlfriend said. The guys don't like this. She finally leaves saying it is over, feeling how intense these guys were.

They never had sex. She was only there for maybe an hour (probably less) Young kids in love make love for hours (especially if they are really getting into it with scratching etc ...which I do not believe they did.... Leon only wishes that) She came over to cool him down but it becomes a fight and she leaves.

Leon's male ego has really been hurt. She was out with other guys that night. She even had eyes for Abbott at one time, she was telling him off in front of Abbott. This little bit of a woman bossing him around. He can't take it and wants to have the last word. (Neither guy is too happy that this little woman just dominated them) So they pile into the car behind her, tailing her. It is not clear if the Leon knew Abbott had a gun, that probably was a surprise to him.

She finally pulls over. She is only minutes from her home and decides not to take this argument to her house and upset her family early in the morning. So she decides to pull over and finish the talk. The guys get out, she rolls down her window but is not going to cooperate. They pull her out of the car or maybe she even she got out on her own, again feeling confident of her abilities and fearless. But Leon doesn't like what she has to say and takes a hit at her and the fight starts. She falls down the hill and Leon beats her a bit more..Abbott helps or just taunts. During this fight she scratches Leon. (This is the only voice she has in the entire story. Do not take it away from her and minimize it by saying she did it while having sex. That is plain wrong. She scratched him fighting for her life.) In his head he is saying something like, "fine you can leave me, but you won't have a face to smile at anybody with." Remember the guys are probably drunk. They stop at some point, when the boyfriend realizes it has gone too far and the two guys go back up the hill.

At the top they maybe get back in their car to leave. But now Leon is thinking, "Should I leave her there? Wow this is bad" Abbott and he are talking about it... when low and behold she has crawled back up the hill to her car. Abbott decides this is enough. She is not going to win this fight and prove them impotent. Now it was his turn. "I am going to finish the ***** off" he says in his head (which he tells the gun shop owner later). He jumps out of the car without Leon being able to stop him and watches unbelievably as Abbott shoots her.

So this is why the Leon can't say anything. He didn't kill her. Passed the polygraph on that one. But he did beat her up and Abbott finished her off without his consent. Leon has built his image on being a good guy, but even good guys can get violent when their love is spurned. This is a clear case of rejected love.
