This is fascinating. You declare that "I'm an idiot" because you read a comment you didn't agree with. However, I made the comment based on past experience with media. I said nothing of the validity of the story or the need for its presentation. I simply am dubious of the timing. As for your ability to determine intelligence from one data point, I am dubious.

Here is some of Bulls testimony that I found online:

(Baker) started talking about things he could do. He talked about putting something in milkshakes. He talked about making it look like she had hung herself. He talked about tampering with the brakes of her car. He talked about maybe doing a drive-by shooting,? Bulls says. Baker told her that he ordered ?chloroform? Online and had looked for Ambien and roofies, or the date rape drug.

I wish they would have shown more of bull's testimony. I read that he got 65 years.

You can google "Vanessa Bulls" + testimony under Videos. Someone apparently videotaped it off of court tv and split it up into 13 segments and put it on you tube. I've watched it several times....it's surreal.

The timing of this repeat fits the template nicely. What CBS really wanted, just before election Tuesday, was fresh material on Sarah Palin or Glenn Beck. Since that wasn't available an old story about a Southern Baptist preacher gone wild would just have to do. It's the best they had to do their part to sway undecided moderates away from conservatives.

This is 48 hours mystery, not Fox News or MSNBC--this story also just aired on 20/20. I hardly think this has anything to do with politics.

Dude, that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You think CBS made this episode to make the tea party look bad? You need to get a grip on reality. Plus, Beck isn't even a Christian, and this Matt Baker guy is a Baptist preacher. Glenn Beck is a Mormon. The Church of Mormon is actually a made-up "religion" like Scientology. They've had a couple of 48 hours episodes on Mormon killers. Do you think they aired those to insult Glenn Beck? Seriously, please answer. I'm curious.

What subliminal messages? Where? I come from Texas, I promise you, anyone voting there will not care a wit about this piece in terms of how they vote. They'll just consider Matt Baker as one rogue preacher, one bad apple.

What a shame.

Huh? What is the meaning of the Chase Blue Print ad. Am I missing something here? An ad for a credit card, right?
