- Jim Hightower, America?s #1 populist, in his podcast last week says most Americans go on living as usual while the wars and suffering go on. It?s interesting what Yarling said that the soldier inside does not surrender.

- I was very moved by your story on homeless vets. i knew that it was a problem but I was unprepared for the staggering amount. I am an Army vet that served in the early 70's. It grieves my soul to know that our vets served multiple tours only to become disposeable. We as a nation ought to be ashamed. I am intrested in getting in touch with Charles Worley, a vet featured in your story. If you have any information on this man my husband and I would like to know. I can be contacted at my email address. My father fought in the Korean war, I served in the Army, my son is a Naval Avaitor. My family has a rich history of service to this country and I really want to help in some way. Things aren't going to get any better anytime soon, so we must reach out and help each other. This was a difficult story to tell. God bless you 60 Minutes and Scott Pelly.

- There is something missing for Veterans and all Citizens of The United States of America, and that is affordable housing and gainful employment opportunities. I have been watching this trend get worse since 1986. The number of homeless, if counted as a new culture in American society, could start their own City. I have a desire to help. I have a 501 (c)(3) organization. However, I would need fund-raising volunteers and grant-writers to assist me.

- P.S. from Charles Birch the Disabiled Veteran who added my main story earlier. During that time I also earned a Diploma on Substance Abuse Counseling from The University of New Mexico. What I was being told was a drug addiction I learned was really a term called self medication which brings shame and deep dispare. I got on my feet clean ad sober once I recieved proper medication for my real disability.
