Mary Anthony is a great teacher and choreographer. I had the honor to study with her, and be a soloist in her company. She teaches beyond technique, and her passion for sharing the art of dance is never ending. With Mary's permission, I am writing her biography, and title that she wants is "It All Started With a Lie". It has been such an inspiration to delve into her life, and I look forward to everyone being able to share it too. Thank you CBS and Dr. Jon LaPook for recognizing this inspirational lady of the dance arts.

Mary's 1952 dance 'The Devil in Massachusetts' was almost lost, and I had the privilege to assist Mary as she reconstructed this powerful dance from her memory. This re-construction will have the original score by Cameron McCosh and the original costumes by Donald McKayle!
The work has not been seen for more than 50 years and will be performed by 360 Dance Company June 17, 18, 19 @ 7.30 at Dance Theater Workshop
