- If this company "owns" these genes, shouldn't they be liable for the damaged and/or disfunction of them? Sue them to oblivian. I am shocked with this even being legal (owns genes), this is appalling....

- Very good point. I believe the reporting indicates that Myriad "owns" breast cancer. It seems to me that breast cancer is inherently unsafe and that its "owner" should be held accountable for any injuries that breast cancer may cause.
