I'm very suprised to see have many people that can not think for themselves. It appears that if your polictical party jumped off a clift you would follow no questions asked. Wake up, your representatives in washington are not prefect, have never been, and will never be. You have to listen, watch, and think for yourselves. Abortions? Is this why we're having this health care reform? No, that is only a small part of the reform. I do not advocate having public monies spent on abortions, but I don't object to the mother is having one. I don't live in her shoes. I don't believe in using abortion as birth control, but I would support my family, friends or whomever if that is their choice. I would much rather see my loved ones get an abortion in a clean sterile environment than in a backstreet alley. If you think that will not happen because you don't like abortions, you need to pull your head out of the sand. Then, what is going to happen to the unaborted children? many are born to children, many are left to raise themselves. We have grown to be an all objecting country. We try to push our thoughts onto others. Sure our country was founded on a democratic principle. We have long lost that principle. We have become a country that critizes everyone and everything that doesn't like what we like, doesn't think like we do,or doesn't do what we want. True, we are all afraid of socialize medicine. We have all heard horrid stories about socialized medicine. But have you actually watched a person die that could have lived a longer life if they had been able to have or afford health care? I have, it's not a pleasant site, have you watched a child try to survive because the mother was so caught up into herself, that the child was raising him or herself? I have it's not pleasant. Have any of you that are so against abortion offered to take in a child that was carried to term and has lived on the streets? I have it's not pleasant to watch this child stuff him/herself because of being afaird they may not have another meal for days. It's not pleasant to watch this child starve for love but be afraid to receive it for fear of losing it. Many children are born just so the parent can get afdc, foodstamps, low income housing, etc. not because the parents wanted them. Why do you think so many children join gangs? It's not because they do not want displine, if that we the case, gangs would be there last choice. No, it's because they feel belonged, wanted, discliplined, only it's the wrong kind of disclipine. If you really wanted to stop abortions you would be pushing your representatives to push mandatory sterilization. if a person has to children and not working and on government assistance, why should we continue to support more children for 18 years? this too would decrease the much dreaded/debated abortion issue. So stop following, start looking for solutions, start pouring your solutions into your representatives offices, with enough constitutes they listen. you are what put them in office. also stop repeating yourselves so much on the blogs. If you have nothing more to say, just read.
Republicans are a strange breed and they have a sense of entitlement. They feel that even though they lost the election that they should still be able to dictate the agenda in congress. Hello! the Democrats won and just as we had to put up with the agenda of that idiot George W Bush who did absolutely nothing but run the country into the ground and make us the laughing stock of the world, so too do you have to live with the Democratic agenda. Because you can't have your way you want to threaten, spit, and do bodily harm to our representatives. This is not what democracy is all about. If you can, vote Stupak out but until that time just shut the hell up!
