just viewed the piece re:healthy recovery. as a senior who weighed 295# a year ago, i have lost 125#in 14 months. this is overall loss(actual wt now is220#, but the total loss is including 'binges, and all you can eat buffets). i know for a fact that if you take care of your eating habits young, then you don't have the problems of shedding it later and suffering from thee problems 'it' causes throughout life. ie: high blood pressure, hypertension, possible sugar problems. i am gladto see the youth finding out and solving these problems before they are affected by them. congrats to the 'doc' and her constant insight to 'our health problems' and the cures like this young lady and her friends, and their group. mike
