I really enjoyed the show this evening (11-29-09) about the Great Explorer Part 1. Someone at the end of the show invited us to go to CBSnews.com and tell you what great find would you like to see happen.
Two things come to mind: Noah's Ark, and the Ark of the Covenant. I read a book once about a guy finding Noah's Ark and it was fascinating, but I guess it was questionable because I haven't herd much more about it. I saw or read the story about the Ark of the Covenant being in Ethiopia but I don't think it was conclusive either.
Those two are my votes, in the order as I've listed them.
Story was great, but did I notice a plastic water bottle among the debris of the shipwreck off ancient Turkey? Looks like a clear plastic bottle app. 16 oz.
A most informative and interesting story about Robert BAllard as The Great Explorer. Well Done 60 minutes. This particular article is one of the very reasons that my husband Lou and I watch every Sunday night. If we are not at home, the show is automatically Tivo'd for later viewing. Again, WELL DONE. izziemg
