Michael Vick repeatedly lied to fans, owners, NFL officials, judges, and anyone else who would listen. Only when confronted with irrefutable and damning evidence did he admit to his crimes. And yet, in interviews with Michael Vick, CBS News 60 Minutes unequivocally takes him at his word. How can this be?

Michael Vick beat, drowned, electrocuted and otherwise savagely tortured and killed many defenseless animals. CBS News 60 Minutes is well aware of the facts. But in their interview with him, CBS worked with Michael Vick to obscure the facts of his participation in and the savage nature of his crimes. Why is this?

I think it is of very little use to ask Michael Vick about his ethics or his reasoning or his motives. But, why did CBS News so eagerly partner with him and his handlers in their efforts to restore his reputation?

...What is it with the people who are ready to, "move on"?....Michael Vick is an incredibly stupid and cruel person....He deserves nothing...."Serving his time" means nothing....Serving time in prison is just a waste of Vick's time and life....Nothing more......Vick does not deserve a return to the NFL........The NFL and Eagles are just out to make what ever money they can off Vick..........He can apologize till help freezes over......It won't change who he is, and what he did, legally, morally, and ethically..........Vick deserves nothing.

We had recorded 60 minutes as we always do so just viewed it last night. We were upset at the 'interview' the James Brown did with Michael Vick. It was more of an interrogation than an interview. We don't feel Mr. Brown was respectful of Michael Vick and did him and 60 Minutes a disservice. We understand Michael was wrong in the truest sense but he has appologised repeatedly, served his time and now it's time to move on. We were impressed with the councelor and the SPCA gentlemen that helped Michael. I'm not a football fan but hope he does well and hope he uses his life now for teaching others the right way to be.

Everyone needs to relax.
Regardless if you feel that his interview was genuine enough, as Christians or even just as humans ? give the man an opportunity for his actions to speak louder than his words, as he said they would. Let us not forget that none of us are perfect. If we look back on our own mistakes, certainly there are some unworthy of forgiveness. In my opinion, kiss off. He served his debt to society (check the Fifth Amendment). Now we can see if he?s serious about keeping his nose clean or if he will end up another statistic. There are bigger problems in the world. If he?s trying to ********, the American people will hold him accountable like they did the first time. We?re at war, people. Let?s focus.

I hope people realize this man, had the financial ability to improve almost every ghetto, and help African Americans in positions of poverty across the face of our nation. This cannot be swept away because Vick did some time, we all know the powerful forces helping reduce his jail sentencing time. He seems selfish only concerned about his money and his career (He even refered to it so many times he intentionaly stopped as to correct himself) no remorse only dollars on the brain. He is a failure as a human being, no kind of man he is at best a child in a man's suit, worth less than the rotting corpses of those innocent lives he freely took away from those defensless dogs.

Shame on Michael Vick, shame on CBS, shame on the NFL and the Eagles' owners/management, and shame on ignorant people who get their enjoyment from the exploitation of the only animal on earth that loves us more than he/she loves him or herself.

What a psychopathic, arrogant loser! Michael Vick wipe that stupid smirk off your ugly face, you are a embarrassment to society. He's only sorry he got caught, and it is unfortunate he is back out in society, without a doubt this man will offend again and his abuse is likely to extend beyond dogs. It is well researched and documented that the majority of the most notorious serial killers and murderers all started out abusing and killing animals. He is so power hungry and ego filled, you will rue the day you set him free. This man has no empathy and is completely soulless. And shame on HSUS for using Vick as a spokesperson...have they lost their minds? God bless America where some a**hole like this would be rewarded with a reinstatement into the NFL....so happy I'm an ex-pat!

You have intense anger which causes you to be a threat to society. Because of your anger we must classify you as an potential serial killer because it has be researched and proven that angry people have the potential of becoming killers. Do you see my point? You become no better the the person you hate when you allow self righteousness to prevail.

Michael Vick is back and I am glad. He committed a crime and he paid for it. Why does his job matter to you as long as he is being productive in society? Exactly! It doesn't effect your life one way or another. I believe many of you say he is sad about losing the money because if you were in his situation thats what you would be concerned about. I also believe that many of you are disappointed at VIck because you will never be paid millions of dollars for any talent that you have. You are quick to say what he is sad about when in reality (whether you agree or not doesn't matter) we all knew (including Vick) he would make millions again playing ball once he was released. This man lost his NAME! Again this man lost his NAME! Something that his on the field talent wont get him back. He has to deal with people daily taking shots at his character and condemning him. Do you know how that feels? Exactly! Now the same people who condemned him (humane society) are using him to further their cause because of his high profile. Listen carefully to the director of the humane society.. He is basically saying if Vick isn't helping their cause the people will know and they will condemn you in the media. Who cares if he is helping your cause? I don't. I care if he is helping inner city kids to be better. I care about his well being, as with any human. People are commenting that he isn't sincere because he hired a few people to help him take on the world. Be honest could you handle his situation alone? Didn't think so! You say he isn't sincere because he has a smile on his face. The man has been in PRISON for the last two years and now he is free. Wouldn't you be smiling to if you were fresh out of prison ? Exactly! Regardless of any of our opinions Michael Vick has a second chance. Isn't that what America is about? Shouldn't we route for him to succeed not just on the field, but off the field. If he wins we all win. Michael Vick's success can be a great story to inspire others who fall short as we all have at some point in our lives. We are all humans and have made mistakes, fortunate for us we aren't famous so the world doesn't care. None of us are perfect so how can we judge and call someone inhumane. Look in the mirror if you want to judge someone. Leave Vicks judgement to his higher power, I promise many of you will sleep better. GO MIKE VICK!
