Bob Schieffer, you go ahead and give points to Dick Cheney. Obama may have suffered some setbacks politically, but he's a refreshing change from what the former Vice-President presented to the American people for eight years. I hope Dick Cheney is accepted as the voice of the Republican Party, for that's whom they deserve.

I agree with FLAustin. Cheney never said a mumbling word during his eight years in office. His comments are disrespectful to the office. President Bush at least has been silent in respect to the office. He did what he did during his office and it is up to the new President to do what he can for the country. He has four years like all presidents have had and is due the same respect.

Former Vice President Cheney had 8 years to speak his mind. Now it is time for him to step aside and stop attempting to divide this country by undermining President Obama. The media treats him as if he is a rival. A "Face Off"? This is not a campaign, Mr. Cheney had his opportunity to help this country and he performed poorly. He should follow the example of silence set by former President Bush. The media needs to stop presenting him as if his opinion carries the same weight as our President's. Mr. Cheney's scare tactics are what lead this country into the mess that the current administration must rectify.
