Bloomburg is a lying sack of $hit. His "Mayors Against Illegal Guns" is simply Mayors against all guns. "Bring out the facts"? Bloomburg brings out the lies and the the half-truths to propagandize the American People.

What people (including many here) fail to realize is that the NRA represents, either directly (as reflected by its membership rolls) or indirectly, the interests of roughly 80 million firearms owners across America.

80 MILLION. That is roughly 1/4 of the "eligible" voters in this country, or 1/3 of the registered voters. Either way, no small faction.

That also means that 100% of this nation's population is at risk of being shot by one forth of their neighbors. In other words, one in four of your neighbors is armed, waiting for instruction by the NRA to act (what ever that might suggest).

I want the heads of the NRA and Gun Owners Association on a silver platter. I won't be happy until these lobbyists are defeated and dismantled and crawling on their bellies like snakes. They don't deserve anything better.

Sorry Bloomie, don't trust you anymore than I do the banks, the insurance companies, big pharma or congress. Restore my faith by first backing repeal of the 17th amendment. Do that, and I'll believe in you.

Good for Bloomberg. He must be doing something right because all the gun manufacturers' water carriers are apoplectic that someone would dare challenge them. I have news for the gun manufacturers: get used to it. Americans are finally fighting back against your propaganda. The more we analyze your propaganda the more holes we find. It has gotten to the point that all you can do is call anybody who opposes you some school yard name.

The owners of firearms in the United States can, and should, be regulated. All firearms should be registered and it should be required that each and every change in ownership be reported by the seller with the name and address of the new owner with the new owner being required to report the acquisition.

All of their arguments include false information, and picking data they want.
The Co shooter's social worker WARNED the doctor and HE ignored the warning. They say he wore armor, but it was a nylon vest. But they don't talk about that.
The Ct shooter was supposed to be committed, but the process was long and he found paperwork. But they don't talk about that.
2 failures of the system caused the deaths, the tool was unimportant.

They inflame people with their comments, crying FIRE in a crowded theater, frightening people that just don't understand the difference.

I ask, why don't they spend this much energy resolving the problems in the economy? Work to create jobs?

I am also concerned for those for the Safe NY act. They seem delusional. "A majority of NYers support it?
This map shows the counties that have already voted to oppose the act. Lists the sheriffs associations et al.

The problem needs discussion, not a back door job, to disarm law abiding citizens.

Bloomberg will lose because the NRA stands for the individual and personal responsibility. Bloomberg supports government control, suppression of freedoms and waiting for the government to take care of you.

The NRA stands for gun manufacturers selling guns. Nothing more and nothing less.
