- Does anyone realize how much non-since this funeral was? A large band with eight pallbearers for each coffin. I'm not a vet, but I've heard that most vet funerals have taps played as a recording. Does this country do anything that isn't some sort of publicity stunt?

- TPAULA - Your admission that you are not a vet explains in part the ignorance of your statement. For you to call the burial of two men who died in the most horrific way possible, defending the very nation you take for granted, a "stunt" is beyond the pale. It makes me sad to think I share a country with someone like yourself who has such low regard for sacrifice and service. For those of us who have served in uniform I see it a little different. Maybe someday you should try doing something for others - for the good of the country. Try answering a higher call sometime in your life and see if your perspective changes. As to the crew of the Monitor, all I can say is rest in peace and thank you.
