A life sentence, or the death penalty for this nurse would be fine with me. However, at all costs, this nurse should NEVER be allowed to practice as nurse again, ever, in her lifetime! Those assisting her in this murder should also face all charges and lawsuits possible.
Hello, I am SO glad you have reported on this topic. I lost my mother in the summer of 2010. I was told the same thing. That they did not give resuscitation to my mother as she needed it. They called 911 and waited and it was too late to revive her when they arrived. Terrible and totally unnecessary.
I was very very angry and offended. She lived in an assisted living facility where they had nursing staff available. Amazing enough they are willing to provide meds for live giving purposes and get paid for that, yet they were not willing to provide breath for life to continue.
I believed laws need to be made to allow these facilities to not be sued otherwise they will continue this awful practice. Scott Graham
