What is really happening? The government bus is full and it just got a flat tire and no money in the budget to get it fixed. We can either get out and start walking or sit and complain about not having a window seat.
It's not the food that is making kids fat, its inacivity. When I was a kid I was always playing outside with my friends. The only thing my mom worried about was me getting hit by a car. Today kids sit on their ass texting, internetting, and games, no activity, simple as that.
If I had the money the government steals out of my paycheck before I even get it, I might be able to afford better quality meals, fresh veggies, etc. It sure would help, especially with the price of food rising daily. Until the citizens of this country can get the Fair Tax passed and get to keep ALL of our pay, most of us will have to make do with less.
On the other hand, what others eat or don't eat is noone's business but theirs!
