- The key bit here is the release was conducted 'ahead' of the expected sequester and its attendant budget cuts. This fact paints the move as a political one. No, these are not felons under US legal system. They are however breaking the laws of our nation and now that we've released them, if we discover that some of them are criminals, we will not be able to do anything about it. It seems that we are perfectly comfortable as citizens with a goverment that refuses to think through potential consequences prior to action. Oh well...nobody cares.

- But Mr Boehner, this is just one area that will be cut due to your inability to figure out a solution. Prisons, detention centers, medical research programs, law enforcement, Security, military, programs for infrastructure, social programs for children and seniors .... all of those examples are .... ooooh...darn I say it..."socialist" programs where people's taxes go to help or keep us secure. And now all of them are going to be weaken due to cuts. Thanks a lot Mr Boahner for keep Americans safe. That last sentence: Sarcasm.

- Oh do you mean those hardened criminals who cross the border to earn $5 an hour so they and their families can eat? Boehner, you are totally without screws to keep your brain together.

- What about our legal families? You don't have a brain, do you?

- It might be cost effective, just hope they decide to just self deport and save the time along with the expense of processing them to the data base of non-desirable applicants for citizenship.

- The purpose of constitutional government is to limit the power of the government and not to limit the power of the governed. Obama and his supporters would do well to remember that.

- What a naive view!

- Attyfam: So James Madison was 'naive' when he wrote the Federalist Papers? The man was entirely correct; the government works for us, NOT the other way around.

- It is frighting to think that our President would release criminals into the population to scare people into pressuring congress to get his way. The crimes committed by the criminals he releases is on Obama's hands.

- No felons were released. Most of those released either have not committed a crime or came to light through a misdemeanor. I trust you know the difference. It would be "frighting" to think that you did not.
