Since when did the FLOTUS duties include going on late night talk shows and making a fool of herself or attending the Oscars to announce the Best Picture? Wow, With so many people in Poverty and on Food Stamps under her Clown Husbands policies, you would think this MORON would stay home. This little trip cost the American Public around $10 Million, that could have helped 100 families out of Poverty. What a JOKE!!!!!
Michelle Obama is (rightfully) respected and admired by hundreds of millions world-round. The only people I know of who don't like her are Teahadist Teapublicans.

To SHUDYBU....she's trying to stamp out obesity in our children and in schools and trying to get our kids healthy...which in turn helps the economy and the general health of all. This is not an accurate statement from the Communication Director of the First Lady. She claims that Michelle Obama was approached by Academy Awards about being a part of the ceremony. I recall and saw a report on ABC News with Diane Sawyer, that several months ago when the votes has been turned in, that Michelle Obama "asked" to know who the winners were. She then invited them to the White House.
She's trying for an Oscar! What an absolute waste of time intruding into every facet of peoples lives. She seems to want to be constantly on display promoting herself and for what end. Jackie Kennedy was at ease in front of the camera but she used it for expanding knowledge. The Obama's are constantly wanting TV time, as if it adds legitimacy to the somewhat bizarre political presence. If Obama spent as much time on the budget as he does hob-nobbling with the media the country might be in less of a mess. He is the president and this mess is on his watch and it is solely his responsibility. Focus on what is important or resign! Plain and simple.

Good God! That just cannot be! He and the democrats haven't taken responsibility for four plus (4+) years! Why should they do so now when they can stretch "Bush did it" for almost four MORE years?
It makes sense since Obama is the 'Popular Culture' president. However, Michelle crossed the line when she had military personnel in the background as props. Eye-candy. She didn't even mention anything about the troops, especially the ones her husband has serving overseas in harm's way. Our troops shouldn't be used as ornaments; it wasn't right when Nixon (remember how he dressed White House Marines as Tin soldiers?) did it, and it's not right when Obama does it either!

With all the TV appearances, you could get the idea that she's just promoting herself. For what end? Who knows.
