Firstly what a sad commentary on our society. Second, without guns, there would be NO gun violence. Third and last...every Yahoo with a permit thinks they are John Wayne. At Columbine there were 2 armed security guards...how much difference did they make...oh that would be none. Which leads me back to #2...without guns...no gun violence. For those of you who are going to rant about knives and baseball bats...you can run away from a knife or a bat...you can't out run a bullet!
I work for a small business that's not in a very good neiborhood. We have people walk in the door asking if we're hiring or can they fill out an application. Some pretty seedy looking characters come through the door. We have 3 people (that I am aware of)with permits that carry at work. I pray to God nothing ever happens but I feel a lot safer that we're not ducks in a barrel.
It would be better to shoot back and kill the creep. Fight back with scissors? . . Really? Just don't run with them, HAHA! When are people going to realize if you want to stop someone with a gun, you need to pick up a gun and shoot back.
