I love Dr. Robert Lustig book. So much great information in it! You other people are wrong!!! I have fibromyalia and found out it is sugar that is causing the pain. I am now pain free! Two of my daughters have issues with sugar. The oldest was addicted to sugar products and now she is off of it and losing weight and feeling great! No sluggish feeling anymore. My second daughter has acid reflux when eating sweets/sugar. No more acid reflux now! We know that it will not be 100% no sugar as the government allows company to put sugar and stuff in sugar that are chemicals and in fake sugars that are killing people with all these diseases and obesity. I also lost 45 lbs. I feel great! Sugar is poison!!!! And we need to spread the word. It is killing us! Read the book, you will learn something.... Thanks Dr. Robert Lustig

I work for The Association for Dressings & Sauces (ADS), which represents the manufacturers of mayonnaise, salad dressings, and condiments and the suppliers to the industry.

ADS recognizes public concern about the growing rate of obesity and occurrences of obesity-related diseases. However, any effort to associate salad dressing and sauces with high sugar consumption in the U.S. is both misguided and potentially detrimental. Although some salad dressings and condiments may contain sugar, these products use a small amount and contribute little to overall sugar consumption. Additionally, salad dressings are most often consumed with fruits and vegetables, which help to promote a healthy diet. Without commercially-prepared salad dressings and sauces, consumers may choose to avoid fruits and vegetables altogether. The manufacturers ADS represents are committed to providing healthful products to consumers, based on their lifestyles and taste preferences.

I grade this F. The reporters knew nothing about the subject. There are no reputable published studies that show a direct link between fructose consumption and any disease.
