- Note to self: further reseach shows I cannot be a great grand daughter of Richard 111. I am, however most certainly a great grand niece along the lines of the Canadian nephew. I am definitly related to The Plantagenets, the Nevilles and the Beauforts. I will continue researching and hope to be accurate in the future. Wouldn't want to mislead anyone, least of all myself.

- I believe I am a descendant of King Richard 111, his ancestors are on my family tree and I am definitly related to the Plantagenets, the Beauforts, the Mortimers, FitzAlans, Nevilles etc. My tree goes back to Kings of Ireland, France, Wales, Scotland and the Holy Roman Empire. Ralph DeNeville and Joan DeBeaufort are my 17th great grandparents, which makes King Richard lll my 15th great grandfather, I think I'm more closely related to him than his nephew, which is related to him through his sister, I understand. I've been thinking about getting my DNA done, now I'm sure I will. It's very exciting!! My ancestry comes from my grandmothers line.
