- as a veteran who has been waiting almost four years for compensation from the va for an injury that happened to me in 1966 huge changes have to be made to the va in washington d.c.the guy they have in charge there now is a total failure and many veterans are dying before their cases for compensation could be heard.all the money that congress has given to the va to move this claim process along at a faster pace has been misused and wasted as we are finding out every day in the media.
