The naivety of the general public is astounding when it comes to the extent of doping among athletes. For one to excel athletically beyond high school requires the use of performance enhancing drugs-they can not compete without them. Olympiads, and all Pro sports athletes do, and will continue to dope.
Lance should NEVER be allowed to take up professional sports again. He is a disgrace. What example will we be setting for our kids if he returns to sport? That it's okay to take drugs to get ahead, to tell blatant lies again and again, to threaten others and to pay off and coerce people for one's own fanatical selfish gain?
Novitzki had the identical or even more detailed information as Travis Tygart. It has been reported that he was devastated that a federal judge killed the law suit without any explanation to him.I hope somebody in the press will be interested to pursue why and what happened.I would not be surprised if a connection of large sponsors to somebody extremely powerful in government does exist.60 minutes here is your chance this story might even be bigger than the doping story.
Excellent 60 mins. interview/investigation. One has to ask why the case was dropped. Is it possible that he agreed to admit (well, sort of) publicly what the gov't. already knew in exchange for no criminal prosecution? Did the govt. know he would not admit involvement for later years which are still within the time limitations for prosecution? Who are the "insiders" who told him who had testified? Wasn't this supposed to be "secret" testimony before a grand jury? The powerbrokers appear to have the power to control at the highest levels of Justice--who are they? Is their involvement being investigated? If not, why not? Many people have worked hard and sacrificed much to bring forward what happened--Justice should be leading the way now--they should stop whoever is threatening those who testified and prosecute those who are guilty according to the law.
This was a great interview by a great journalist talking to a great public servant and a servant of sport. Sadly, neither of these two gentlemen will ever get the money or fame that Lance Armstrong did in his career. Out of all the unfair things associated with this story, that fact may be the most disheartening.
There's more to this than Lance. He had alot of help. As writer JD Champ points out in his essay, "just look at his shirt". If cheating had posed any real challenge, Lance couldn't have done it.
Lance Armstrong is a product of our society, which is based on lies. It is in advertising, manufacturing, news reporting, Oprah Winfrey, and, of course, Washington. Leave the man alone and stop using him to set an example and divert attention from the lies that everyone else is telling.
He developed testicle cancer and survived BEFORE he won those titles. Did anyone realise that testicle cancer is a symptom of steroid use? Hello! Is everyone so stupid that they couldn't see this one a decade ago?
The Govt. needs to give an answer as to why the case was dropped. Tax payers dollars were given to Armstrong while he was doping and this is a blatant violation of his agreement. What more do they need? We want answers...

You're a damn fool to believe ANYTHING they tell you!
