What a great team! Sorry to see Hilary go, she did so much for rebuilding our Foreign Relations. We're a military family. If we're called, we will proudly serve, but so thankful we have a President who has a 'steady hand' and doesn't 'shoot from the hip' when deciding when to engage.
I am very disappointed in the questions that 60 minutes asked the President and the Secretary of State. I thought that this was more an infomercial than an interview. I think that the media just don't search for the truth anymore. They just want to be part of the ruling class of people who want to tell us what to do!--without any accountability when things go wrong that kill people. I just don't get the American people and their values anymore.
Most of that was already covered at the Benghazi hearings only days prior. It was a complicated situation, not one that can be answered in only 30 min. And to describe this Presidential Administration as the 'ruling class' clearly suggests you haven't accounted for the actions this Congress.
You missed the entire premise of this interview. It was a casual chat session as opposed to the hearings Hillary just went through. It wasn't meant to be antagonistic and grueling. We had enough of that during the campaigns recently. If it isn't barking and hateful, you deem it unworthy? You should have tuned in to the hearings if you wanted that. News doesn't always have to be bitter and cutting. This was a nice interview and that was the intended purpose. Stop hating so much and try to enjoy some pleasantries once in awhile. Are you just as angered over all the embassy attacks during the Bush administration? There were many more incidents and deaths for which we still have no concrete answers for those.
Yes, it would have been a better interview if Steve had been rude and asked embarrassing, inane questions...you know, like the Rep. Senators, but he didn't want to look like a fool.

Since day one of the current president's first term blatant defamation and obstructionism has been the overwhelming goal of his opponents. His predecessor could much more be characterized as the architect of the "destruction of America" and out reputation abroad, but what good does the name calling do? Steve Croft you should be embarrassed for doing a powder puff, non- interview with the Pres. Obama and Hillary Clinton. A US Ambassador and three other Americans dead and you give them a total pass on their " lack " of involvement. Shame, shame on them, you, 60 Minutes and CBS.
The hearings were for that. This was meant to be a nice, casual interview. You're not happy unless somebody is screeching hateful comments and accusations? Get a grip. There were far more deaths and embassy attacks during the Bush years which have yet to be answered fully. Where is your outrage over that? It was a nice touch to have a lighter interview after riding out the campaigns and the recent hearings. Stop expecting hate at every corner and you might actually find a smile on your face despite which candidate wins. Somebody who seeks divisiveness and mud-slinging constantly cannot be very happy. Question 1) In the reporting of your recent congressional hearings, the media widely used a clip where you, Secretary Clinton, said "what difference does it make?" surrounding the question of how and with what motivation the terrorists attacked in Benghazi, then in the same breath you said that our job now was to determine what happened. Don't those two points contradict each other? What difference does it make is exactly what the American people still deserve to know, is it not?
Question 2) President Obama do you believe it makes a difference in how and with what motivation the terrorists attacked?
Question 3) Are both of you currently reading all current cables from Diplomats abroad, which specifically ask for changes in security levels? Have you personally made an effort to ensure an attack like this never happens again?
Question 4) After logging close to a million miles and visiting over a 100 countries do you, Secretary Clinton, believe that not enough of your time was spent on addressing the needs of embassies in the most dangerous regions of the world?
Question 5) Secretary Clinton, during the hearings you repeatedly referred to the Accountability Review Board? Did you make yourself available for them during the investigation?
Question 6) President Obama, during the hearings Sec. Clinton said the State Department did not contact the surviving diplomats to ask what had happened because the FBI was investigating. Did the White House make any effort to contact the survivors? Why would your National Security Advisor,representing both the White House and your Administration in general, insist that this was not an act of terrorism? Where you happy when she contradicted both the reality and your own statements the after the attacks?
Question 7) President Obama, you have used executive privilege to fill vacancies within the Federal Government, why have you not utilized this power to hold those accountable for the negligence that led to this successful attack on US interests abroad?

Did Croft ask where was Barry during the attack in Bengazi? Did he ask about the witnesses and where are they? 4 months later does it matter Hillary that you don't have any answers to the whereabouts of the Terrorists? We know where the video guy is...IN JAIL. Where were the tough questios....This was a love fest...Hey Hillary do you remember Copenhagen/hagen...hahaha what a great time we had. REHEANUE, Who are you directing your SHAME question to? 60 minutes? The President or Secretary of State? I watched this rare interview and obviously had a different impression than you did. I found that both spoke with candor and had a mutual respect for one another. Since I was bothered enough by your post to sign up for an account, please give me some insight to your SHAME question and your WIFFLEBALL comment.
