Travis Alexander, "30-year-old devout Mormon, businessman and motivational speaker," as he is portrayed, was not the high-priest as pronounced today by daniel freeman. If so, and as the restrictions apply to such a stature in a church, why was he not put on probation for participating in oral sex during a baptism involving both the defendant and himself? Nobody knew about this until he was killed?! I would have to disagree with the state's witness's testimony. Daniel freeman, being so close to Travis Alexander, as he claims, would know of this sexual addiction he obviously had. Was he punished by the elders in the church? Daniel Freeman described consequence for violation of the churches ordinance. Obviously, Travis was not ever scorned for his actions. And coming from the mouth of an elder himself; Daniel Freeman, should be an honest man, and never keep a violation of conduct involving an elder from the rest of the church.
Maybe, as an example of the many sad cases involving child-molesting priests, will show the ignorance of people idolizing church members. The person is still human. Just like yourself. Nothing makes them more holy, faithful, or accepting to God. Not even the person pushing a cart full of alluminum cans down a back street.
Yet, some churches dress the man in gold and put him next to Christ on The Cross. And although he can be the snake feeding someone an apple, it gets overlooked by ones close to him in the church. Not all, but not none. There had to be knowledge of Travis and Jodi. She is not a murderer

First of all, I'd just like to say that I never, ever post "comments" on any websites--I have too much of a life for that. However, as a long time fan of 48 hours (and having thought about doing this for way too long), I decided this evening to "take action." So, I have a suggestion for the folks who have been throwing together the majority of episodes I've viewed over the past several years--drop the "mystery" from the title. Because as far as I'm concerned, the "cat is always let out of the bag" in the first 2 minutes! In other words, the suspect/murderer/perpetrator seems to always be disclosed prior to the first commercial break! What kind of "mystery" is that!? And, to add insult to injury, it seems that every episode is some kind of "update." What kind of b.s. is that? Actually, "update" should read: a regurgitation of a prior episode because we're too lazy and/or cheap to put together a completely new episode--I mean, come on folks, we live in America! It's not like there are not enough new stories out there! I will close this diatribe by just saying that if you guys see any competition with Dateline (on NBC), you've been left in the dust! And they don't always even claim to be a "mystery!" Simply put, CBS needs to "man-up", cut the crap, and get their own Keith Morrison! To be noted: this message is sent only in concern of a good show goin' BAD!!!

Now now, let us not rush to judgment, she could walk free if mistakes are made Now lets have a look at this, he (her boyfriend Travis) fell on the knife 27 or 29 times, she in the meantime was cleaning her gun, it went off and struck him in the head! I can't understand why she is even being held!! this is a clear cut case of self defense! I feel strongly that she needs to get the knife and gun back and told to be more careful with whom she associates with. I can't wait to see the story!!

I bet this example of human violence will increase it's rating score for 48 hours. Is this another reason for increased killing in our society/culture??

When does this case finally go to the jury??? I am so sick and tired of Jodi Arias lies and they have so much proof of her guilt. Why are the prosecutors dragging this out. She has no remorse and certainly no regret. Scary beyond belief. What was her backround? Childhood? Where are her parents.

The prosecution rested, however, the defense won't start until Jan. 22, which gives the jury long time to think. I've been watching the trial on tv, jury is asking questions, but mostly questioning police tatics on what they didn't do. She is a pathological liar/killer, I only hope this doesn't go the way the Casey Anthony trial went

Thanks 48 hours for following this up. I am a big fan of your show and wow what a story, I truely hope Justice is served in this case. No-one deserves to died or be killed the way Travis was. Sliting someone's throat is such a horrific thing to do. I am based in Australia so I am not sure if it will be aired over here. I hope you are able to put the followup story on the website after it has been aired so it can be view again.
