I've read many of the comments and people seem to be judging the marriage rather than the murder. It doesn't matter why one married the other, they both seemed to have reasons other than those of a normal healthy marriage to be together. He had a need to control someone and she had a need to improve social circumstances, otherwise how do two people who don't speak each others language come together in a lifetime commitement. There are many reasons for marriage some work and some don't. In the western developed nations we have this fairytale idea of marriage as something that should be authenticated by love and any other form is some how illegitimate.
The death of this women is most certainly suspicious and the combined instincts, experience and testamony of the experts, forensicly and emprically is sufficient enough for me to believe he is guilty. Further to this his continuous eye movement to the left during his supposed recollections is an indication of constructing a memory rather than an authentic one. I agree with JC, this man exhibits signs of narcissitic personality disorder. There is no way a man of this nature would want her to walk away with the kids and the controlling power that would entail. The photo of the hands is really odd and I don't have any notion of why he would take it. The short version, I think the conviction is correct, all things considered I believe he is guilty.

i clearly do not see any sign of a personality disorder..The left eye dynamic you talk about is questionable. Dr. baden said the fall evedence was consistent. the jurors botched this as there is reasonable doubt. Oh by the way kids often dont come out of their room because of fear! Think people!

Not sure about this, there needs to be unequivocal evidence (DNA) before destroying another life. Prosecutors are known in many cases (along with an entire justice system) to frame many individuals for crimes they didn't commit until DNA exonerates them. Hence why we have the Innocence Project.

While innocent people are sent to prison, killers....etc.. often go on killing/committing crimes because due process is not done in a fully just way. In this case, there may not be a killer, and it would be a travesty of justice if this were the case. Then the prosecutors ..etc.. should be facing serious criminal charges.

The mother of the daughter is obviously hurt and wanting justice for her daughter at any cost. But EMT people felt a little strange in their 100% conviction of this man,not considering there could be other possibilities.

I'm not saying he's innocent, but if he is, the only persons committing the crimes here would be Louise the prosecutor, the judge, EMT evidence, etc.. for convicting him.

Better to be right than send an innocent man to prison. Witchhunting in our society only makes the witchhunters the "witches" or criminals if they are proven wrong. Very sad.

Your very naive, how did we convict criminals prior to DNA or forensic science and other criminal process technology.
It would be impractical to release all criminals world wide who have been convicted prior to DNA and forensic science many of whom are still incarcerated. Where I understand the point you are making, we run the risk of more individuals being realeased than false convictions. I too wish for a world without even one false convictions it is difficult to achieve.

The husband said he gave her CPR, I assumed he meant mouth to mouth. So, why no blood on his face? And the brusing on the thigh had a distinct pattern, like someone stomped down on the thigh. He claimed he drug her body from the bottom of the stairs around to the buffet. Don't cha think with all the blood she lost it would have been all over him? After all, he said he craddled her in his arms, before calling 911 and after calling 911. Where was the blood? On the floor and on the wife. Susie, do really believe so many individuals would lie just so the prosecution could win their case. No offense, you sound like a witch-hunter. There's more I could point out to you but it would be a waste of my time.

This guy is guilty as homemade sin. Plus, he's kinda flamboyant like he's auditioning for a Broadway musical. I also agree with the sentiment expressed about the Mother grooming her to be a trophy wife for an American of means. Looks like Mom chose a sadistic psycho for a son-in-law. No more gravy train.

Laughed out loud reading this comment. I think they could find another commercial. I don't hate Phil Mickelson. I do hate the disease and get tired of being reminded of it every commercial.

I'm curious...did we all watch the same show. An accidental fall down the stairs would not produce the injuries on her body. The bruise on her thigh that clearly shows a sneaker mark is not a result of a fall. She's near death yet once revived for a moment would produce scratches (four that I saw) on both sides of his face?
Add in the logistics of her body, troubled marriage, recent life insurance and coroner findings is telling.
He is guilty as charged....
May she rest in peace and the family eventually find some comfort.

I thought the life insurance was a family policy and all of them were covered. Scratches and sneaker mark. Like I said they could have gotten into a down and out fight over money and he snapped. Is so, he should have fessed up!

I agree. I have tumbled down twice on 13 HARDWOOD stairs and escaped with hardly an injury. The victim "allegedly" fell down 11 CARPETED stairs and got all the bruising, bloodiness and dies? David Ditto's explanation of a fall doesn't past the smell test!
