- These people in Washington better get their act together. There's little time left to work out an agreement but what's bound to happen if there's no agreement is unacceptable. John Boehner, wake up! We "down here" in the lower and middle classes cannot afford to go over the "cliff!" President Obama was re-elected and The House and Senate have to get on the same page and pass something to prevent this iminent catastrophe. I'm so disgusted with the lack of compromise in our government these days. Stop worrying about the lobbyists and how much money they're going to spend on your campaigns and start worrying about the people who elected you, while you all enjoy very high salaries, free health insurance for life, the best of everything. Come here to Buffalo, NY and spend a few days with people who are already struggling and don't need to have more of their hard-earned money taken, while the top wage earners go out and buy bigger yachts and mansions. And John (Boehner), stop saying they're the "job creators." Clearly, if they were creating jobs for the last eight years, you'd have a right to call them "job creators." No, they've been hoarding their tax breaks and not creating jobs. So, guess what? Now they can pay more than everybody else. GET TO WORK AND GET IT DONE!!!
