- The cuts the President proposed basically were matched by new spending programs on the other side of his budget, the republicans have said all along that they are for closing tax loopholes. To bad CBS did not post the whole Boehner interview as they did with Carney it would have made it easier.

- You lie Boehner! The President does want to get spending cuts down, he just doesn't want to cut programs that you call "entitlements" that are necessary programs for the elderly, middle class and poor like ss, medicare, medicaid and foodstamps! The majority of us voters think you should cut tax loopholes for the rich, defense budget, subsidies for corporations etc. But of course, you won't do that because your rich buddies might cut your lobbying money! Why don't you call it for what it is . . . greed! I can't wait till you, Ryan, Cantor, and McConnell are out of office in 2014! The GOP has a lot of balls trying to call the shots when they are the losers!
