Law Enforcement allegedly found a substantial amount of blood on the carpet in Chris's apartment. This was a key piece of evidence in the trial as portrayed on the show. Chris says here that there was no blood on the carpet and then goes on to say that the Crime Lab didn't even receive carpet from his apartment but some different fabric. So now it is the local law enforcement, the FBI, the crime lab, the prosecutor and the judge that conspired to enter this as evidence? If someone has information on these "reports" that Chris is describing, please let me know. That's a real hard one to swallow. How can no evidence be presented in court as evidence? Another thing that is bugging me. Who was the girl taking the video for his security deposit? Was she questioned at all? What exactly did she mean when she said," it's clean considering." Considering what? Was she insinuating that he lived like a slob? Was she referring to a party? What exactly was she referring to? Why did she zoom in on the exact spot that law enforcement found the blood on the carpet? Was she ever considered a suspect in the murder? The way that segment was portrayed, she could have been an accomplice. There is definitely more to this story than was portrayed on this episode.
Yes there is more to the story of course, but time on an hour show is limited. It's not against the law to clean an apartment or film a carpet, and she won't talk against him. For one thing it could encreminate her too. She lawyered up, and that's the end of that unfortunately. There was a lot more, such as cell phone "pings" in certain areas and calls at certain times, but it is strongly believed he murdered her on his own, but possibly had help moving the body and since he plead guilty to it, that was the end. He also plead quilty to choking a second women he had in his apartment less than a month before MacKenzie was murdered and he certainly had more of an interest in death and funeral practices than what the show had time to report. Plus he said they didn't send the carpet but two pieces of fabric, which could have been fabric under or the matting under the carpet. The two guys Liz Reed talked about had some time line issues and such that could not very likely have allowed them to be in the area at the time of the murder of a girl they say they did not know. No proof has ever shown they did know her. They also had some witnesses that saw someone matching Christopher's description in the area of the abandend car that night. There's a lot an hour long show can't tell. Hope this clears up a few things for you.
From what I understand. There was not a substantial amount of blood, but a 4 inch round circle. The video they are taking is to get his deposit back and had been stated as bong water that they were trying to get out of the carpet. Yes, the girl was questioned who had done the video tape and her car was also processed by police. She later was not considered a suspect. It is not unusual to video tape to get the deposit back. And yes there is more to the story, I don't believe that they stated in 48 hours that Chris had also taken a lie dectector test and had passed it. And the two original suspects also took a lie detector test and failed it.They also tracked Chris through his cell phone of his whereabouts that day and was not at Cresent Bar or Pitcher Canyon. What I think is odd is that the prosecuter would offer him a 6 yr deal if they had all this so called evidence against him. The duct tape with his so called DNA is NOT a conclusive match to Christopher's it is one out of 1,400 people. It was not 99.9% It also stated that there were two unknown males DNA on the knife? Christopher Wilson's DNA was NOT one of them. A lot of questions thats for sure!!!
