CBS neglected to mention this race was like playing a basketball game with the refs (Mainstream Media) on your side. The message was stated over and over again because the media played each speach of the democrat while focusing on any thing but campaign issues with the GOP.The GOP message never really got out until the debates and that was in a limited capacity. The media chose ideology over journalistic responsibility.

Taking the pledge gave the impression of working for the rich which supported the dems agrument. No presidential candidate till now has agreed to send a constitutional amendment to change rowe vs wade. The majority of Americans including men disagree with changing this law and believe religion needs to stay out of politics.
