If the blood stain on the floor actually contained the gun outline, and he wasn't actually dead yet, and he didn't have blood on his hands because he grasped the outside of the pillow as he shot...is it feasible that he may have shot himself, dropped the gun on the floor, realized he wasn't dead, is desperate to die, bent over the bed and picked the gun up (hence the puddle of blood on the floor), put the pillow back over his head a second time, but then started fading out and just cradled the gun in his hands while he went unconscious? Just saying. Nobody but him knows really what happened. Think outside the crime scene box. Think about the mind of a man who's marriage is ending. We all love our children more than anything in the world, but...that doesn't mean we haven't been low down and depressed enough, or jealous enough, that we couldn't actually think about...even just a little...taking our lives. Sure, in the end most of us would make the right decision, but what if one of us couldn't. Wasn't strong enough. Was too weak from the years of stressing in his mind about his wife "cheating" on him. Now his mind's reality is coming true for him. NOW there is an actual validation of a "real-life- other-man". NOW he is "right" in his mind. NOW it is too much to handle all at once..."My wife IS cheating. See, I was right the whole time. She IS a *****. She wants to fight me for the only thing I have left...my boys! What have I done? Why did I marry her? Why is my life falling apart? God damn you! What have you done to me?!" NOW his mind snaps. She's in the shower. The boys are sleeping. He's alone. He's alone inside. A snapped mind and a jealous heart (aka heartbreak) can cause anyone to do anything....even and most often...suicide.

I?ve never seen anyone cry so much in an interview.
She comes across to be sincere and it?s hard to know whether the evidence was manipulated by the police. I?ve seen that happen before. Strange that the jury changed their minds.

the pompous prosecuter said he wasnt happy after winning a conviction and then after the probation order it was like a kick in the guts...of course its all about winning for him and to send a person away for life on little to no evidence...there is something seriously wrong with this...i think the prosecutor and law enforcement involved in trying to railroad this woman should all have psychological evaluations to try and figure out why they cannot see any innocense in anyone because it is obvious that they ran a conspieacy against that poor woman....i have watched ammost every episode of 48 hours and not until now was i moved enough by injustice to make a comment....what a sad sad story

This one is definitely hard to figure out....I do not know if I feel she is either guilty are innocent. I feel like she can def be guilty do to her crying but where are the tears, and the fact that she never once thought of a intruder possibly coming into the house, she ASSUMED he committed suicide how does she definitively know that? I also feel the investigators were not all there with the evidence like the "smoking gun" evidence of the holster and the gun being moved clearly shown in police photos. This all seems to go either way quiet honestly! I do find it weird that he is found dead after a visit to the divorce lawyer AND after her husbands death that she apparently LOVED so much actually went on to date Sean Michael on and off for 2 1/2 years...Sounds odd to me that she did that. I do believe she did have plenty of motive TO commit this crime but its a very difficult one!

She is so guilty. Upon finding him in the bed, she contends to have said "Oh Honey... what have you done to yourself? Why did you shoot yourself? How did she know it was not an intruder. Answer: Because she planned it all out. I would be balling to if I was facing life. I'll complain about the evil police and cry about my crapy life at the same time. Quite easy to do!
In closing: You choose to marry the J.A. Put up and shut up. He is jealous because of your behavour.

I truely believe that this woman is innocent. She did not have anything to do with her husbands SUICIDE. The prosecution twisted everything around to their benefit. If the gun was supposedly dropped on the floor by Tracy why was there pillow feathers and coagulated blood found on the gun. There were no pillow feathers on the floor, only blood. The only other place where pillow feathers and blood was found was under the pillow just as the pictures showed. The crime seen was messed with before any pictures were taken. This falls on the hands of the detectives. Texas is not nice when it comes to sentencing, we have the death penalty people. The reason for giving her probation is because deep down they know she did not commit this murder. In some twisted way I believe her husband Scott planned to hire and attorney and kill himself with a pillow over his head to pin it on his wife so she could lose everything. This makes more sense to me then the prosecution theory. INNOCENT!!!!

I cannot believe that this woman was found guilty. I have never seen a case with such flimsy evidence in my life. The ONLY "evidence" they have that Traci is lying is the "perfect fit" blood patter on the floor. Am I the only one who feels that this is guesswork at best?

I am normally a big fan of the jury system, but this was a joke of a decision. This case should never have gotten past a grand jury, let alone a jury of her peers. A judge needs to reverse this decision based on a lack of evidence. Talking to another man, and even kissing another man while you married, is NOT evidence of murder. Crazy, crazy, crazy!

I have seen this one a few times. I found her to be such a whiner! She goes on and on. To be honest, I don't think she did it, but she's certainly not helping herself. She's extremely unlikeable, doesn't make her a murderer. She very much reminds me of the mom in the "Where's Our Baby?" episode, where baby Sabrina disappeared. This woman was guilty as guilty can be. But whined thru the entire show. Exhausting.
