Sen. McConnell won his last election by the skin of his teeth and now he presumes that the Republicans won the election by a landslide. Now he wants to dictate to the President what he should do to fix the economy. Sen. McConnell and his party in the Senate had the oppertunity to not get us into this mess but they forced the Republican President''s ideas into law. They approved cutting taxes for the richest 10% but leaving the taxes as is for the middle class and then by buying us off with the piddling amounts of $200 +or- thinking that that would stimulate the economy. Now he wants the Republicans to be the white nights coming to save the nation with a tax cut for us little folks in the middle. "Phshaw."
He and several other Republicans who made it into this Congress should shut up, sit down, and vote for this President as they did for the last one who, I might add, was a true loser.
