Thank you so much for your tell-it-like-it-really-is excellent report on the suffering of the Palestinians under Israeli Occupation. Please do not let the critics discourage you from doing your work and telling the truth. This kind of clarity has all but disappeared from Amercian news media. It''s about time that people start asking questions about Israel''s colonialist policies and why those policies are being supported by American politicians.
I would like to understand what Israel supposed to do with your worthless expressions of sympathy, that is if you even bother to express any such thing, when the poor Palestinian People are given free access to Isreal and restart, among other things, suicide bombing.
Thank you for your story on the West Bank. Americans are not getting this story, and they need to know what life is like in the West Bank. They need to know that the settlements are taking over the West Bank and taking the good land and an unfair portion of the resources.
Thank you to 60 Minutes for your broadcast of the West Bank story on Jan. 25. This kind of coverage has been needed for far too long. It''s about time the truth of this situation is being revealed on mainstream TV. Americans do not know the reality of life for Palestinians under Israeli occupation, which makes it hard to understand the motivations behind Palestinian acts of resistance. Moustafa Barghouti is an important voice for Palestinian interests. Thank you for interviewing him on the show. The interests of the Palestinians are legitimate, but this has not been shown on American TV or other mainstream news outlets. Thank you for being brave enough to present this story.
Thank you so much for this report! Finally a national station is showing the truth about the harsh and unfair ways of the israeli army. It is so important for everyone to see the injustices being done to the Palestinian people, and how they are being imprisioned in their own homes. Children are being kept from going to school, Palestinian (And also Arab-American!) people are subjected to humiliating searches when simply crossing borders (which in themselves are unfair), and they are forced to share their homes with the very people who are destroying thier way of life. Thank you again for showing the brutally unfair and unlawful tactics of the israeli army, it is a story not many are brave enough to tell.
Thank you for your candid and courageous report on the situation in the West Bank. Nevertheless, I have to ask why you neglected to mention that the settlements are illegal under international law and in violation of several UN resolutions. The U.S. people, who have a reverence for international law and hear so little about the reality of the situation in Israel/Palestine would have benefited greatedly from this information.
Nonetheless, thank you for airing this important report.
