Nice to see some who knows how to say Lubbock. (Hint: It is not lub ick.) When I first went to tech from Post High School, I thought I was in heaven. later on I read that Sports Illustrated thought it was like a minimum security prison. I guess they missed their drinks.
I am so tired of hearing about how Texas lost on a last second play. Fact is Tech beat Texas fo rthe whole game and if it wasn''t for a blown call on a punt return Texas would not have even been in the game. I hate it because it takes away from what Leach and the team did. The won the game but if you didn''t watch the game you would think Tech just got lucky.
Mike Leach is a great coach and a great person. He is great for Tech and the program is going to only get better.
Wreck-Em Tech and Go Leach! I will be a fan not matter where he coaches
Coach of the year! Similar story to earlier teams of "the spread" offense in six-man football. It''s sad that a championship doesn''t often happen with these disadvantaged teams running a super innovative offense.
It often happens after teams with quadruple the recruiting power steal these offenses, start out ranked top 10, and use it to walk.
Nobody would stand a chance if Texas Tech had the recruiting power. Will Texas Tech run out of time with Leach? I hope not.
Thank you, Scott Pelley and 60 Minutes. We are all very proud of Mike Leach and our Red Raiders. These young men have conducted themselves throughout this amazing season with class and grace, even under the relentless pressure of the national spotlight. I am a 3-time graduate (B.S., M.S., J.D.) of this fine university and am so proud of it''s students, faculty and staff, and, of course, these fine young athletes. We are looking forward to many great seasons to come. WRECK''EM TECH!
To all that want to bring up this or that game. This interview is not about a win or loss. This is the best press we''ve ever had, and it''s the result of a phenomenal season behind a great coach. Critics are the ones who feed our motivation, my hat tips to you guys. Win or lose we''ll stand behind the Red Raiders and we certainly love what you''ve done Mike Leach. Keep it up! I can''t wait to watch the most exciting football program in the NCAA next year.

Scott, you are a class act and did a fantastic job capturing Coach Leach. The season was an absolute blast and worth the drive from Dallas to Lubbock to catch the Red Raiders live!
Great interview! Coach Leach & the Tech players have worked hard to get what little respect they''ve gotten this year...As a die-hard Red Raider fan, we have not a thing to hang our heads about! It''s been a great ride...and I look forward to next year! Go Tech!!! Connie
It is all an act, Leach is playing mind games with all you homies. No follow-up from the Cotton Bowl which happened on Friday from Scott Pelley, the biggest homie of them all. Coach of the Year? He was outcoached at the Cotton Bowl by Houston Nutt.
Thank you Scott Pelley for an outstanding report. As a kid that grew up in West Texas, it''s awesome to see the university and it''s football program on a national news show. Mike Leach is a very unique personality, and the good people of West Texas never judged him, and have accepted him as one of their own. Thank you Coach Leach. Wreck em Tech!
