Qwerty is absolutely right. The posts by people pretending to be outsiders are almost certainly cult members trying to cover up the shameful criminal activities of their group.

Whose side do you believe is not being adequately represented here? SIST''s? If so, then they should provide the reporters with their side of the story, instead of being argumentative and uncooperative. CBS News and their local affiliates have asked for SIST''s side of the story and they often respond "no comment" or respond "its all lies" with no factual explanation of why the information received and reported is a lie.

These people don''t sound like the peaceful and reasonable people they claim to be.
And Avraham Cohen doesn''t have a religion? Or people associated with SIST do not share religious beliefs? Just a few weeks ago, members/workers of SIST were protesting outside the Brown County Jail saying Isaacson was being discriminated against because of her religion. Religion is obviously a rallying point for them.
Why are these two guys minimizing or hiding the extent of their relationship with Rama, just "have done some work" for him. Are they ashamed of their association with him? Why not be proud of who you are, who you defend, what you believe, and witness this all to the world?
I am a high school teacher in a town close to Shawano. I am also a resident of Shawano and have spent most of my life in the area. As a teacher I find it very, very, difficult to present an accurate version of this story. From early on, prejudice has been shown against the "Rhama''s" or now called SIST and has become part of the culture of Shawano. My wish is for reality to be presented without any slant and any BS so people can report and know the truth! It is time for this town to move forward, please!
Not saying that all that the officials are saying is wrong but if you do to one you must do to all. They make it sound like everyone is afraid to walk the streets of Shawano because SIST is here. I bet if you didn''t have someone point out who they were you might think they were of a different religion or group. I have had contact with several of the people who are affiliated with SIST and they have been nothing but NICE to me. They have not forced any of their ideas on me or threatened me in any way. It is like take a dog and putting them in a cage and then continually poking a stick at them eventually they will attack. Who are we to judge anyone and their beliefs. I remember back in the day when it wasn''t cool to tell people you were Catholic. I think more is being made out of all of this than needs to be and because of other terroristic things in our world doesn''t mean you need to treat everyone like they are a terrorist. You have a choice if you don''t want to be a memeber of something then don''t just leave. Lets put an end to all this harrassment both ways.
Everyone has a choice what to believe this is the United States right we still do have that right don''t we? My thoughts are this is being made into way too big of a deal. This group, how do we have a right to call them a cult, has been in this area for 30 + years and now all the sudden everyone is making a big deal out of all this. Yes, it would be nice if they would just go away, but why is ok for them to be harrassed, but other people who do not pay their taxes are not. Why are they not on the state delinquint tax page? And if they want to make a big deal about SIST not paying taxes then they need to write an article about all the people in Shawano County who are delinquint is this not correct? They are and have as it seems been harrassed but just about every official in the area, but others who do or don''t do the same things don''t how is that right or fair.
I was a member of the cult now known as SIST for over 26 years. The leader was raised a devout Hindu. He claims to have renounced that religion when he had a vision of Jesus Christ in 1965. In the beginning his teaching was similar to that of the Bible, but it became very weird over the years. The leader became very controlling, abusive and legalistic. He alienated me from my wife and children to gain more control over them, and because he could not trust me to give up thinking, as the most devoted followers do. You can see examples of that in the subject video, and the YouTube videos the cult published about the Shawano mayor and Christianity, which the members are taught to despise. As examples of the control the leader exerts, he names all the babies and tells who to marry whom and who to go to college and what they should major in. Most of the arranged marriages have ended in shipwreck, as have many marriages of couples who were together when they came into the cult. Since I left none of my children will communicate with me. That is typical of the division and fragmentation of families connected with the cult. When the members or their attorney say SIST has nothing to do with religion, be aware that it is a lie. We all joined thinking the leader was a unique messenger of God, and we had the great privilege of being associated with him. What a disappointment it turned out to be for all of us who truly wanted to be close to the Lord Jesus Christ.
this video is just funny. i live 14 miles just south of shawano and i grew up of hearing stories of the cult members. their businesses they run are popping up all over shawano. if the cult members are mad at the county and city of shawano for shutting down sales of tobacco,beer and whatsoever until taxes are paid, well get over it. every single american has to pay taxes ever since 1775. if they don''t like it guess what move out of the country where taxes don''t matter.ty
