- Oh, prophetfella,
I forgot to mention, Phil Gramm, McCain''s go-to guy, was receiving $30,000/month from Fannie Mae, just as a "retainer," in case they needed him for something. Sounds like honest work to me....NOT! McCain''s best-bud Campaign Manager. How much does that stink? Don''t take my word, just Google it! It''s everywhere. Or is EVERY newspaper, radio station, Internet website, magazine, and TV station in the country "leftist rigged bias," whatever that is?
What is your source/evidence of this "second most corrupt payola taking Senator" fantasy? More right- wing rigged bias fascist fictional Republican propaganda? aka Bu**sh** - Reply to this comment

Katie is perky, isn''t she? She exposed Sarah for the babbling know-nothing that she really is. Gotta love perky.
Is Sarah also beginning to show a bit of racism? "This is not a man who sees America the way you and I see America," she told the [lily-white] Clearwater crowd.
Desperation is ugly. Sarah is an ugly person. Pretty on the outside, ugly on the inside. She''s losing votes right and left.
By the way, what is "rigged bias?" The term doesn''t make any sense. You''re just stringing together Republican drivel.
And about Obama being a "payola taking Senator" who says other than you and Rush Limberger?...McCain''s Campaign Chief, Sen. Phil Gramm, (R) Texas, is almost single-handedly responsible for our present crisis. He literally SNEAKED a 262 page bill into a huge, must-pass spending bill in June, 2000. His covert insert removed default credit swaps from any regulation (You say Obama''s a slickster?). It wasn''t discussed or presented in Congress. He added it to the larger bill after deliberations. Guess what''s the main reason for our current crisis? Give up? Unregulated default credit swaps, according to the bankers, themselves. McCain''s #1 guy. DEREGULATION. Now McCain wants to deregulate health care, "just like we''ve been doing with banking for the last 10 years." - Reply to this comment

I read a NY Times article about the raw deal our uniformed combat forces receive if they get discharged because of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. They interviewed several war heros who received underhonorable discharges because their mental difficulties, brought on by the horrors of war, were causing them to exhibit disruptive behavior.
By cutting these brave men and women loose with a under-honorable discharge, the veterans, who had parts of their minds damaged in service to our country were stripped of their VA benefits, so they couldn''t get the psych treatment they desparately needed to recover. And, since they had PTSD, they couldn''t get jobs, due to the depression and/or unusual behavior which PTSD causes.
This is a real disease, coded in the DSM-III, III-R, IV and IV-TR, the manual used by all therapists, physicians and insurance companies, and Medicare and Medicaid to diagnose and classify mental disorders.
Our government pretends that it''s surprised to learn that these outcast service-men and women are having a hard time, after turning them out on the street sick, without VA benefits.
My personal view is that Obama is much, much more compassionate than McCain, despite his POW experience. - Reply to this comment
- i understand the need to get the economy issues out there, but no one is including our vets into the health plan which I figure should be a major concern. McCain did state the he will freeze the spending on resources the vets will need when they come home, and how will it effect the ones home needing serious rehabing still.

The world would be dangerous with dishonestt person in the white house. Obama lied about his purchase of property in Chicago. He lied aboutbhis relation with Ayersw, Write, and many other matters.

- Barack Obama once again proved he''s ready to be president! Katie''s guests on the webcast drive me crazy. How anyone can still remain undecided is beyond logic? Just proves our country is filled with AIRHEADS!

- i was walking down the street the other day and i passed a house with a for sale sign in the front yard, next to that sign was antoher sign that read McCain/Palin. I just couldn''t believe it. I mean we are in the position we are in because of Bush. We need change, and that would be Obama/Biden. I think Obama did very well in the debate last night. I was very irritated that McCain is to busy slinging mud to discuss the topics.
