Haven''t watched 60 minutes since 2004. Do not watch any news shows on cbs. There are better sources of news and entertainment on TV than CBS. Trying to compete with nbc for the basement ratings? I think that we should bring back the firing squad for people that write books like this, and networks that give them air time.

johnsonotis,
Disagreeing with the "Bushies" is fine. What is not fine is giving away national secrets in our war on terror. What is not fine is "60 Minutes" hyping every book they can get their hands on the disparages the "Bushies", yet doesn''t give the same courtesy to anyone who writes an anti-Obama or anti-Democrat book. What is not fine is having fluff interviews on "60 Minutes" with the Obamas and Joe Biden, and not giving equal coverage to the McCain''s (Cindy has just as equally a compelling lifestory as does Michelle Obama) and Sarah Palin. The obvious bias at CBS and especially on 60 Minutes is so obvious, it''s laughable when a liberal tries to deny it.

This is great! Very secret information that is making our troops successful and you are sharing this with all that can tune in and our enemies as well...awesome, I can''t tell you how it makes me feel to know that there is a news network that will air anything that comes their way without regard to what the repercussions might be to our country or our troops. I have to comend your editorial policy, better yet could I have a list of your sponsors so I can tell them how excited I am about this information you are willing to share, I know that your sponsors are important to make up the difference in your budget that the DNC doesn''t take care of...the way I figure it as long as you guys can stay on the air, the u.s. military doesn''t have to worry about attacks from abroad...CBS is doing a great job destroying the country from within. Anyway, how about that list, I have some calls I need to make.

I love how all you conservatives now define anyone who questions our government and our democratic process and doesn''t fall in line with Bushies and the Republicans as "liberal-biased". But I guess if you''re a brain-dead clone, you don''t have to bother yourself with any kind of self-analysis or examination of those running our country and are free to zone out to funner stuff like American Idol, Dancing with the Stars and Fox News.

Well here you go again. I have finally decided that we are no longer to view any of the CBS shows and I like others have decided that buying anything from your sponsors makes no sense. If they agree with you and your obvious bias I can be biased too. NO More MONEY from me or any member of my family. Simple, but I suddenly feel good about NOT needing those products in my life!

Our founding fathers would be so dissapointed to know that the 1st amendment has died. The media which used to report news and events in a fair and unbiased manner has become a one sided propaganda machine of the DNC. My hope is that one day prison terms will be handed out to those who have hijacked the airwaves and newspapers of this nation in their blatent and now undisguised attempt to subvert the most cherished right we have as Americans, the voting process. Americans do recognize what has been done and I truly hope HONESTY, INTEGRETY, and FAIRNESS can one day be a part of a once honored profession again.

CBS is plain old BS. Another mouth piece for the DNC. I don''t watch CBS except or a few comedyshows and sports because their version of the news is all a bunch garbage and news readers / celebrities want to be the story RATHER than even attempt to be factual.

The networks are the propaganda arm of the democrat party. They do the same work the Brownshirts did in the thirties. I don''t watch anything on these networks except football games. Couric is worst than most with her pitifull defense of Hillary and hypocritical attacks on Palin. Woodward is a traitor and should be prosecuted. The networks are complicit traitors as well. God save America!

I am grateful to CBS and 60 Minutes for their in depth stories. We are bombarded by so many soundbites that we don''t know what is REALLY happening in our world today. Thanks, 60 Minutes. We try never to miss one of your programs.

Hello???? Anyone at CBS paying attention to the posts? If you weren''t so bullheaded about "getting" the conservatives, Republicans, and President Bush, you would realize that you are slowly committing network suicide. I for one will not watch any CBS shows, and I will be contacting all of the advertisers who pay for 60 minutes to tell them why I will not use their product. If you think you can bring "change" through your one-sided reporting, so can I!

So what if there is a secret and lethal special ops program in Iraq? What are they doing? Oh yeah, KILLING AL-QUEDA leadership, the same ones that brought us the thirteen folks that hurt us so deeply on 11 Sept 01. The ones who seriously thought that they could bring us to our knees and bow to their will. Seems to me, someone else tried that tactic in 1941, it failed. But some of us in this country have forgoteen what those b***ards have done to us. If we back away, it is a matter of time. I am all for whatever it takes to ensure these "people" (I use term lightly) never rise again.

I think it''s about time someone did a news story on Woodward. An aging, bitter man tries desperately to recapture the glory of his younger self by stirring the hornet''s nest weeks before a Presidential election. A once-glorious news organization which has completely squandered its good name tries to do the same. To me, the whole thing is like an old 1960''s activist standing on the street corner in a ripped up tie-dye shirt yelling at the top of his lungs at passing cars. He thinks he''s relevant but unaware that everyone is ignoring him and laughing at him. Woodward and CBS''s time has come and gone.

Do you honestly think that people with a brain listen to your garbage. Americans are smarter than that. Hollywood should keep their mouth shuts! I would say do what you do best but, they can''t even act. They are pathetic. Reporters can''t report, Actors can''t act, and the music industry is in the toliet.

The only good entertainment is in the past!!!!!!!!

cbs, nbc, abc, msnbc, suck
60 minutes sucks the most!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys should learn. For every negative show you produce, the Republicans inch closer to winning the White House. I really should thank you, but you still suck.

its sad that people such as woodward puts his need for personal ego and power- (i don''t think for one minute its about money) above his country. when you are at war one should always weigh if what they say would put our soldiers in harm way, time and again the liberals have put their need for power first and our soldiers last. THATS THE DIFFERENCE between a liberal and conservative.. IN WWII the saying was "loose lips sink ships" Traiters are alive and well.. what did Woodward think would be reaction of Iraq to their being "spyed" on- anything to derail America winning in Iraq and prove them wrong.

Why does your show only find it necessary to bash Republicans. Where is the balance?? Why are you not investigating the democrats... Where is the investigative reporting on Obama.. RE: William Ayres, and the the allegations of his citizenship?
