- It was a good solid speach, and some of what needed to be said was said. However, I think he was way too lax on the Republicans and needed to emphasize not just the failed policies of the Bush administration, but their criminal behavior. Cronyism, intentional undermining of the US Constitution, continuous lies and deceits by the Bush administration on Iraq, the pillaging and theft by *** Cheny, the failure to get the real terrorists in Afghanistan...absolute NO domestic policy whatsoever, pompus arrogance and snobery, torchure of enemy combatants, spying on the American people, buidling walls against our allies...its not enough to say we need to change, the American people need to be reminded why and often. Obama was not strong enough to indict Bush, but the American people will do so in November.
