This day is not political.

It is a day when thousands of lives were lost and changed.

While I feel for ANY family that has lost a loved one, or those who have lost friends, I firmly believe that the survivors are done milking and reaping the rewards of sympathetic people.

Yes, those that were in the building died without warning, BUT like anyone in a car crash or heart attack.

Those without any insurance like young people on delivery bikes have survivors doing quite well, when any other accidental death may not have.

Those that went in to save others, died in the line of duty, like any other civil servant might, but they are true heroes because they looked at that mess and proceeded to do their job.

I believe that the benefits to their families should be substantial, but it needs to end with those inside.

Now there are those that are suffering from the dust that need medical care. They need financial assistance now.

One of the most interesting things about the alleged hijacker mentioned in the latest fake "Osama" video, Waleed Al Shehri, is that he is one of several of the "19 hijackers" that are reportedly sill alive.

BIG DEAL, 117 people a DAY die on the nation''s highways in traffic accidents- 42,000 a year and THEY don''t get national TV and media press, memorials, victims payments or Presidential visits. People are WAY too obsessed with this 9/11

2,900 v/s 42,000 a year in preventable automobile accidents, which is more significant and demands at least this much attention if not more in the media?

Why on earth, the towers are GONE, all of the debris was hauled to a garbage dump and all of the steel was shipped off to be scrapped.

We Live in Seattle.
I turnt the teley on.
To my horror.
I could not beleve
What I saw.
So I woke my friend.
I said we got hit.
The World Trade Center.
The tears ran down my face.
Tears for the people
who died.
So I went out to find
a Flag.
I did find one.
It was so quiet.
Different from the library.
A quietness I never felt before.
Yes the Flag is still up.
Never put it away.
So I ponder the day.
And let me say
I truly am so sorry.
I know words can''t
bring back your loved ones.
Nor can I hold each and
comfort and wipe your tears.
I do truly care.
Each is remembered
When I look at the Flag.
That is often.
You see I am a legally blind lady
that learnt to think of others
before self.

For once can''''t people leave politics out of this? Thousands of people died 6 years ago and it would be nice that you could remember them. Think of the pain that people have had and still do have. Forget the arguements on politics and the like and just remember the day and those people.

Here in the now for the fleeting moment that now is, shall we recall the words of a long ago yesterday when one of the few true men of the people said you can fool most of the people most of the time. But now in the mitts of our economic slavery we are at last nearly all fooled, worried more by fear it''s self then by the imaginary enemy used to justify death and destruction all for power and profit. 911 was a wake up call, but have we risen to the challenge of responsibility that is ours, to retake our country and investigate and punish those who have committed crimes against her. Beware of the naysayer who%u2019s pockets filled with blood soaked money generated by the sacrifice of the innocent dismiss even the consideration of crimes committed six years ago, for who%u2019s fears run deeper, those who follow or those who mislead.

Well its all the commentary that makes people not trust the news. Fox news is obviously republican. And CNN, though not quite so obvious, is democrat. If there were just the news and not the politics, people would have an easier time trusting what they''re seeing on teevee. But there isn''t. There''s entire segments, sometimes one after the other, just dedicated to political sway. If that doesn''t make people wonder, and if you don''t expect something like that, than maybe its the other way around. Maybe its the non-conspiracy theorists who are crazy.
