I am sick about all of the selfish people who need to have children at advanced ages. Too often these days people are having kids that are two generations younger than themselves. This makes for some bizarre children who have little in common with their peers. Besides, who's going to raise the kid when Alzheimer's sets in? Or when the parent has a stroke? Or when they die while there's still little ones to raise? The odds are just plain against this kind of parenting. Sometimes it's okay to just get a puppy, or to just admit that you have missed the boat. Creating people for late in life entertainment is wrong, and the people doing it must know this.
This really needs to stop;I feel sorry for you people being so hateful. How do you think these kids are going to feel when they're old enough to understand what their father did while their mother was dying? How do you think this makes the eldest feel? You sit on your ass and call her names when she stood up;put back her most likely existing hate for what he did to her;to their family..And said nice things about him,so her kids could look back and maybe find some peace in that..So they don't have to grow up without a father as well.So then maybe, just maybe they wouldn't hate him and could forgive him.-That is not being a liar; That is NOT deceitful..That is being a mother; That is the kind of thing a mother does for her babies.Get off your high horses and leave the woman alone; She's dead. She can't defend herself..You're all pathetic.
erratum: I meant to say this: I can't imagine how a woman, who had been fighting for her life, could have coped so well with a philandering husband. I am awed by her courage.
Although the word "inspired" is a cliche, I was quite moved by Eliz. Edwards' courage throughout her ordeal. I cannot imagine how painful, and how strong a woman must be, to deal with her husband's infidelity and total disregard for their marriage, while also knowing that you will die within a year, leaving two young children to be raised by that same husband.
I admire her and wonder when men AND women who cheat will ever understand the pain they cause others because of their selfishness.
by RielleHunterSlut December 9, 2010 7:33 PM EST John still would have been the best choice to run this country if it wasn't for hooker's who prey on married men. I too fell victim to a ***** **** and I'm sure many of your Retartican's did too.

You "fell victim" to a hooker did, you?

"Almost" how, pray tell?
"She chose to stand in that courtyard and present a picture of John Edwards to America as the perfect husband who was standing by his wife during her cancer treatments and that was really a fraud that both the Edwards perpetuated on the American people".
-Andrew Young
Did Young get sued for defamation?
Nope.
And why not?
Because they knew he had the proof to back it up.
No need to feel sorry for me.
I feel sorry for your aggrandizing a co-conspirator.
formurusmcsgt" "former lowlife in the USMC" That's what I see in your screen name. Why don't you try to DO something with your life instead of acting like being a government sponge gives you some special insight. BTW: USMC does NOT make you special, except for the fact that normal society had no room for you.
The children may have sage advice from their dear departed mother, but their pain will always be with them over her loss and her absence from their lives. I don't care about John Edwards. He repeatedly denied Elizabeth by being an adulterer and philanderer. His affair also denied his children because he violated his covenant of marriage and responsibility as father within that covenant. He repeatedly denied his affair with his adulteress. Then he repeatedly denied the existence of the affair's child. He denied when it was convenient to do so, merely to prop himself up. He is unworthy of his children's love from his marriage to Elizabeth. I hope in time the children only remember their sweet loving mother Elizabeth and reject their denying father.
