Look at the pictures that have been on the web and tv and look at the interveiws. this guy getting killed by the enforcers, I have no doubt. What they were doing there and how she was able to:
1. Husband is shot from 200 yards away in pursuit by bad guys.

2. Wife stops, goes back, tries to pick up husband, decides she can't, and is still able to get away because the bad guys couldn't cover that 200 yards in the time it took her to do all this.

A more likely senario.

Couple makes a deal for most likely cocaine. Deal goes bad and husband is killed on shore or close too it and girl gets splattered with blood trace. She gets away but he doesn't. She does not want to go to pen for a ad drug deal going down. Husbands family drags her through the news to hunt for their son.

The people that live in this area know what is going on on the lake. Supposedly these two were about to move away because they were so concerned but decided to take one more trip to the heart of a well known drug running area.

It may just be me but something sounds awfully fishy here.

The boats that have been dubed pirates are the local security patrols for the thugs. This is a known fact to those of us who live in the area. I agree with all when it is said they were crazy for going over there. Would you go walking up to a tree full of hornets if I told you that they were there. I think not. Prayers with the fam over this and hope that the civil unrest for both the citizens of both texas and mexico can some day find some peace from this mess.

High speed runs across the border at Falcon lake seem to be not uncommon, and jet skis might have fit the profile. They would have retrieved Mr Hartley's jet ski thinking it was carrying saleable drugs and have continued to pursue Mrs. Hartley for the same reason.

The enforcers for the Zeta cartel/gang is a group called the Soladatos. the are made up primarily of ex military and are really, heavily armed. RPG'g, heavy machine guns, mortars, etc..

So if you really want to get there attention, take some swift boats from the seals, a few of ther old river patrol boats or something of simular capabilities and go boatin!

That is what it would take to stand up to these people but you have to remember, the government is not about to allow you to do anything like this because you would be violateing this future imigrants rights!

I don't want to violate their rights, just their lives.

Also if you think this 4 ft 11 inch women killed him what did she do with the jet ski and body? There are witnesses that saw them go into the water together and witnessess who saw the 3 boats. Did she have the strength and time to keep her jet ski, move his where it couldn't be found and move him to land? He would have floated by now if she left him in the water for dead.....I believe her.........
