Doing time in a Peruvian prison is worse than capital punishment. The have a maximum sentence of 35 years because they don't expect anybody to live even close to that long in one of their disgusting, overcrowded prisons. Van der Sloot is going to suffer a sentence worse than death. After he recreates the crime scene at the hotel he'll very likely rot in a Peruvian jail awaiting his show trail for a very long time...after which he will of course be convicted and sentenced. Probably within a year of being shipped off to the Peruvian Big House, he will be dead.

1. it operates nationally and internationally!
2. it involves itself in too many areas!
3. as a consequent of #2, it interferes in other agencies activities!
4. as a consequent of #2, it wastes time and resources!
5. as a consequent of #2, it has no credible oversight!
6. as a consequent of #5, it violates laws as it's agents whims!
7. as a consequent of #2-#6, it has little to no credibility with the American public anymore!
8. as a consequent of #2-#7, it ought to be drastically downsized, it's mission reduced and specific, OR suspend it's operations and liquidate it!

As it stands, the FBI spends too much time harassing the public, messing up cases, and then propagandizing the public upon it's failures!
It appears to be beyond repair, so why attempt to? Let's save the expense! It doesn't merit continuance. Shut it down.

there could very well be more victims. because of his father he had a lot of pull in Aruba.I hope that this time he won't walk away with that smug grin on his face.
