I mean, it was the "conservatives" who were responsible for electing the first (half)black President of the United States, right? All those "racist liberals" voted for McCain.
I would imagine the President was amused by it. He is a father himself, you know, and I'm sure that Malia and Sasha did plenty of that at that age, too.
This is not news. But it is a feel good picture and article that has the stamp of approval of the Democrat Party. It is natural that CBS would promote a pro-Democrat Party piece, because almost all of the major media news outlets, CBS included, helped carry Obama on feather pillows into the White House. He is their guy. they want him reelected no matter what. This is part of that effort.

it's good the democratic party was monolithic in it's support for 'their' candidate ... and it didn't require any effort at all for obama to get the support of enough people to win the nomination.
