It was good to hear the other side of the story which brought some balance to the issue. I thought Harry was very reticent and did not probe well and did not make use of the face to face interview. These folks need not have flown in, such was the quality of the questions. It would be diffcult to separate the child from his Brazilian family, nevertheless he belongs with his father and should be returned to the U.S. Kudos to working women everywhere who wear many hats, juggling work and family! this is so awful to let them on our news when they are already in control of the news in brazil, how can this happen here, they must have paid alot of money to do this. it is considered kidnapping here and internationally just because their high courts decided it wasn't doesn't mean a thing. just proves how messed up their judicial system is. the only family Sean has is his Dad, his grandmother has conspired to kidnap him and should be arrested here. his stepfather should be arrested for aiding and continuing this offence.

Sean was illegally taken to Brazil, and his father was deprived the ability to be with his son for the last 5 years. Yes, the grandmother loves him, but let her spend thousands of dollars per month to fly to NJ and spend time with Sean. A 9 year old does not have the maturity level to make these decisions, especially under the constant manipulation and pressure he is constantly under in Brazil.

The Goldman case is a CAUSE, the plight of internationally abducted children is a CAUSE, REGARDLESS of race or nationality. Leah you know very poor about this story. The "recent" restate Sean did was prepared and well studied by the lawyer that represents L&S and the mother's family. It was made out of court, it has no legal value and the "child services agent" present, along with other 10 people, were recruited by the lawyer of the family, using influence and probably something more. The recent psychological interview was also manipulated by the psychologist. I read it and I am a Brazilian. The mother's family and the stepfather should be ashamed of the "dirty" game they are playing, using all political and economic power they have, influence in the courts and in the Brazilian media to manipulate this case. There is clearly manipulation, they don?t play by the rules and they never thought that David would go that far, nor that the public opinion in Brazil would be on his side you, specially in light of the great defamatory campaign they put in place against him. You probably don't know half of the story and have not examined the documents you mentioned, otherwise you would not make such a comment. Oh, and 3 psychologists experts indicated by the judge (not the family) issued a report where they conclude that Sean is subject to parental alienation (a type of psychological abuse caused by the mother?s family) and that he has no psychological condition to express his opinion due to his age and fragile psychological situation
