Early Show Co-Anchor Says She'll Continue Doing Show And Hosting "Big Brother"
- I just don't understand why everyone is on the lady's back about continuing working, you all have got her from having others watching the baby after its born, to not wanting anything to do with it, working 24/7, and as for her what she said to her mom about her college degree and throwing it away cause the baby is coming, I really don't think she meant for it to come out the way it did this morning, I think she is just so excited nothing was really making sense, and as for her not being a very good reporter or her personality,I didn't know this was a a ''lets be critial'' day of the woman who all she was doing was sharing some good news, but then I guess people hate to hear''good news''. peachietrishie

- Congrats, Julie on your soon-to-be bundle of joy!!!
I wonder what this season's "Big Brother" contestants will think? - Reply to this comment
- Congratulations! Please do not take this in a wrong way but Julie, I believe you should stay home with your child and leave the reporting business to people that are a little bit better, how shall I say this, better qualified. You had an opportunity at the Miss USA contest to ask perez hilton certain questions as to why he has the right to feel and believe a certain way and yet at the same time, he denied those same rights to Carrie Prejean. You had the opportunity to do something great and you let it slip, something that a great reporter would never, ever do, you let the story get by you and for that, Julie, with all due respect, please leave while you are still ahead, go into the sunset and enjoy your family.

- Julie and Les,
Congratulations on the new baby! You both will make great parents. I think that one of you though should take some time off to be around the baby as much as possible I don't like see children being shifted off to daycares or other places and not being in their own home as much as they should be. I know that first hand from being around children who get too tired when they are not home. God Bless all of you!

- Solid news must be lostt! Yesterday it was Madonna falling from a horse and today a birth announcement. What happened to solid news? What is happening in the world, are we so enamored with ourselves that we just use this 'soft' news?
Do we have troops enbattled anywhere? What about the environment problems? What problems is our President having that might empact on a vision for the U. S.? What is it with this soft news reporting? - Reply to this comment
- Congratulations Julie and Leslie!!! I know that you'll make wonderful parents. I applaud your decision Julie to continue working after the baby is born. I am a single working mother of a 4 year old beautiful little girl. I treasure the quality time my daughter and I spend together at home but at same time I treasure I get to spend talking to other adults. Your child will definately be the light of you and your husbands life. I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy.
