I think Susan Boyle is wonderful. I was very disappointed with CBS's morning interview. The nerve to ask her to sing without music etc. It was like you were trying to get a dog to do tricks. You were trying to make her look like a failure. It was like you were set yourselves up like judges. I think you should have considered you are talking to a talented human being and treat her accordingly. Shame on you CBS.

I am asking that the media stop referring to Susan Boyle as a "spinster". She is a woman (a care giver for the past many years) who put everyone else's needs in front of her own. Why is it such a surprise that she has such a beautiful voice --- just because she hasn't had makeovers, etc. --- that has nothing to do with her talent. The superficial can be easily taken care of --- and I hope they don't change her much --- but, to have a voice like that, that is a gift, that, hopefully, we can all enjoy (and learn that looks don't make a person). Shame on the judges for judging the book by the cover without even looking at the contents ---shame on their arrogance -- shame on us all. Good luck, Susan, I hope you have the time of your life and enjoy every minute.

OK - got registered and all.

Now, where can I get a CD with Susan Boyle music? I really enjoy her singing, but don't like to have to hear those idiot judges mess with her.

Thanks,
John

I heard about Susan's performance on the radio as I was getting ready for work this morning. When I got to work, I Googled Susan Boyle and watched the youtube video. I was blown away with what I saw and heard. I emailed the link to my family and several friends. What a way to start a day! Susan is a remarkable person, and what a talent!

Along with Andrew Johston, Ms Boyle imho is the most talented contestant I've yest seen on Britain's Got Talent. That said, I have to say I'm a bit miffed as to why they are calling her "unlikely" and why it is when she first stepped onto the stage the people rolled their eyes- but were later amazed. Are a pretty face in the classical sense and cute arse prerequisites for a good voice? Did she not "look " like she could sing? Is 47 too old to carry a note? I'm so happy for her that she is enjoying so much recognition- but I sure wish theyd quit slapping her in the face by saying it's a "shock".
