Secretary Of State Tells CBS News War On Border May Escalate If Arms, Drugs Trafficking Not Stopped
- buanneyphwank - Ugh - what makes you think legal dope will be cheap? I live in PA where the state runs the liquor stores. Wine is a lot more expensive here than other states. If you let the Feds or states sell dope your $100 ounce will cost $125 with a 40% tax on top. Get a clue the government will have a monopoly. They will do an extra duty crack down on small dealers and then raise the prices.
Watch what Rendell does for legalized poker machines for an example. He will crack down on all illegal machines to put them out of business so they will pay the hefty license fees for the machines and pay a high percentage of the take in taxes. - Reply to this comment
- honestabe8- Dude you are so totally clueless cause you are caught in your bong and hazy dope induced thinking - if that is what is passes for.
If 80% of arrests are for dope I would recommend you stop smoking dope. Thats a pretty simple conclusion.
He didn't equate dope to murder he equated illegal activity to other illegal activity. It is a law. Abide by it.
You seem to think that a few people who enjoy being stoned should have a legal right to it but want to ingore the fact that every time you make an illegal activity legal you make it easier to justify other illegal activities. If we legalize dope should we legalize car theft? Isn't that a no harm crime? Don't insurance companies pay for the stolen car? What about killig a homeless man? Nobody seems to care about them? - Reply to this comment

It wasn't the hippy drug loving generations in any way. another glass of Koolaid anyone?

- Do you seriously equate smoking a joint with murder? If so, you identify yourself as the fool.

You could always call it murdering a joint.

- "The "Zetas" the most violent Drug Smuglers known to this part of the world,
Have rescently started to recruit "american Citizens"
The "Zetas" were some of the Most Elite Mexican Army Commandoes, trained inside the U.S. with Additional training by the IDF in counterinsurgency,
Drying up the gun supply will go a long way to curve a growing threat.
what if the body count in Ohio or Phoenix was 2,300 a year and Kidnappers ran rampant?

And, just the same as the Aztec brigade in El Salvador was trained by the US, the Zetas were used by the Mexican elite to murder opposition and suppress dissent. The Mexican government had no problem when these thugs only killed on orders from the Mexican billionaire clas and their boy-toy, Calderon. Mexico is the longest running one-party dictatorship on the planet, now that the Soviet Union has collapsed.
Unfortunately, when you train a pit bull to kill, it may turn and kill you. This blood is all on the hands of the Mexican elite. Now that the Zetas are turning their guns on authority figures, the Mexican authorities are all worried. But they brought this on themselves with their own completely corrupt and vicious rule. - Reply to this comment
