Poor, bitter hateful Ann. I''d feel sorry for her if she had a few redeeming qualities. Unfortunately, the only positive thing I can think of in relation to her is she''s a great recruiting tool for the Democratic party. Coulter, Limbaugh, Hannity, Bush, Cheney, Palin. These people handed Obama the presidency on a silver platter with a hugely democratic congress as a bonus. For these things, and nothing else, we owe them thanks.

This women needs a MAN really BAD. Rush Limbaugh is a hate monger and so is she. Bush got us into a war for no reason other then some idea of installing Democracy in the middle east. Ain''t gonna happen. All the while fating his and his oil pals pockets.

Where are the WMD''s.
Where is Bin Laden.
Why was Bin Laden family allowed to escape the US.

Notice how all that''s missing from her attire are the Death head insignia and the SS lighting bolts.

Oh My Harry Smith...loved you telling Ann Coulter to take a breath. I''d like to really know your thoughts as she sat there spewing. I have watched you for a number of years. It''s time for CBS to swap you a Katie. You''ve earned the chance to the top spot.

" one of the more persistent stereotypes about conservatives %u2026 by liberals is that conservatives are greedy and only want to keep the money they make for themselves. The book, %u201CWho Really Cares: The Surprising Truth About Compassionate Conservatism,%u201D by Syracuse University professor Arthur C. Brooks, blows this stereotype to pieces, and no one was more surprised by its findings than the author.

Professor Brooks analyzed ten years of data adjusted for variables such as age, gender, race and income, carefully documenting his methodology so the results could withstand the scrutiny of other researchers. His conclusions? RELIGIOUS CONSERVATIVES DONATE FAR MORE MONEY THAN SECULAR LIBERALS to all sorts of charitable activities irrespective of income. Professor Brooks also points out that liberals give less than conservatives IN EVERY CONCEIVABLE WAY, including volunteer hours and donated blood. Not only do religious conservatives give more to charity, they give generously - four times as much as others.

Liberal New York Times columnist Nicholas D. Kristoff writes, "A study by Google found an even greater disproportion: average annual contributions reported by conservatives were almost double those of liberals.

Ann Coulter is a whiney mean spirited horrible person who you give credence to when you show her face or mention her name on your program. I believe that she makes up things as she goes along.

What a breath of fresh air! Harry, thanks for a direct and hard hitting interview. I dropped my toothbrush to run to the TV and watch. Harry, you earned my undivided loyalty today. Great job in making it a two way exchange and not just a PR moment. That''s what news reporters are supposed to do!

Ido not understand who would actually read or purchase her books. She is rude, opinionated and one of the most close-minded persons I have heard. She labels those who disagree with her as insane. Maybe the networks that cancelled her interviews were wiser. What a waste of good air time to hear her rambling. Please don''t have her back. CBS this morning is my favorite morning show, but I can''t stomach that! Same to Limbaugh, Hannity.....but she is worse!

Watch obama make us all victims by increasing the Earned Income Tax Credit to include more than a majority of filers. That''ll mean that over 50% will get welfare from their tax return instead of paying taxes.

Let''s test her theory and see how many times obama portrays himself as a victim during his term. Just the other day Mischelle was whining because obama has a hole in his shoes! Is she frigging kidding. She makes $300K as a hospital adminsitrator (high cost of health care anybody?) why doesn''t she go BUY her husband a pair of new shoes. What a bunch of whiney victim mentality poor boy BS.

Well she''s basically right. How are is the avg citizen who actually paid their bills, managed their money, kept a job, didn''t become a drug addict or criminal rewarded in the current environment? Basically they''re not. They''re the ones who''ll have t pony up and pay for all this bailout nation.

I did''t see the show this morning, but I think Ann Coulter is one of nastiest human beings I''ve ever run across. She is so angry and full of hate that I wouldn''t blame anyone for becoming physically sick when talking with her. I''m sure Harry did better then most when faced with her vileness. Liberals may have ideas not expoused by everyone, but the liberals I know are compassionate people, not full of anger and hate.

I don''t like Anne Coulter. But Kudos to her!! THANK GOD someone was able to tell this phoney Harry Smith to his face, on air no less that the is personal liberal campaign he is running could stand to be a tad bit more inconspicuous! He really feels he''s pulling the ole wool. What happened to an unbiased press, Harry? Morning after morning you campaigned for the Democratic presidential candidate to the point I could no longer watch CBS morning news...

Shame on you Harry for pushing your personal political agenda under the guise of fair and unbiased reporting. Do yourself and all of us a huge favor- resign!! You are no news man. Finally you have been exposed... on your own show!

I appreciate Harry''s demeanor and manner, but his interview today with Ann Coulter did not do him justice. He refused to acknowledge the validity of any of her logical assertions, simply because they flew in the face of his personal beliefs, so it seems to me. That is an unprofessional approach to an interview, and it only underlined her opinion that left wing liberals are not as sane as they think, and are in fact obtuse.

Hey candid3 - were we watching the same interview??? Coulter is the rudest, most unprofessional bimbo I''ve EVER seen, and every time I watch her being interviewed, I wonder why the host gives her so much line... she should be reeled in, clubbed and thrown back in the sea for chum. Harry Smith was, as always, the consumate professional.

I am ashamed of the behavior of Harry Smith as well as many of the individuals who have elected to post comments here.

If you choose to be discerning in your analysis of the interview, it doesn''t take long to know that Harry Smith was a biased and unprofessional interviewer this morning. From his body language to his initial comment of how "sophomoric" she is, his entire approach to the interview was filled with personal antagonism. His condescending comments of "take a breath, take a breath, take a breath" and "you should put yourself up on a cross" (right along with the the childish imitations of such a brutal form of death, are insulting.

Now, while I don''t agree with every stance that Ann Coulter takes, I absolutely cannot stand the personal attack methodology of liberals, as evidenced not only by the behavior of Harry Smilth, but also by vast number of personal attacks this blog. Name calling? Use of incredibly foul languate? Why is it that so many have difficulty sticking to the ISSUE rather than sinking to the level seen of so many.

And I''m sure that I will be the next on the list for the personal attacks since I am not applauding Harry Smith''s behavior nor the disgusting personal comments that have been previously posted.

Dear Harry,

I watched your interview (or should I say scolding) of Ann Coulter. It was the typical sanctimonious Harry that we have all come to recognize whenever you interview (scold) someone who disagrees with your higher order of liberalism.

Your manner is never to give conservatives an opportunity to present their case but, instead, to attempt to rile them into a heated battle so you can sit back smugly and berate them.

Frankly, I quit watching you years ago and only dialed to CBS this morning because Coulter was on your program--please pass that fact on to the sponsors.
