Sweet Pea, it seems I''ve read in the news that the military, though they do have some Obama voters, seems to be largely leaning toward McCain. I''ve failed to meet a veteran yet that not only says they will vote McCain, but everyone that I''ve talked to says the idea of Obama in the White House scares them.

Sarah Palin''s husband was a member of the Alaskan Independence party, a terrorist group, and she supported it.:

Comment from a fellow POW:

"But my point here is that John allows the media to make him out to be THE hero POW, which he knows is absolutely not true, to further his political goals."

Plus, do some research. A large number veterans will not vote for him.

As i said, do some research before you give your uninformed opinion.

America is fed up with all the scandals from Republican crooks, liars, perverts, lawbreakers, and used-car salesmen hucksters that have trashed this country over the last eight years:

Bill Frist
Randy "Duke" Cunningham
Jack Abramoff
Tom DeLay
Mark Foley
Larry Craig
Ted Haggard
Bob Ney
Trent Lott
Alberto Gonzales
Donald Runsfled
Scooter Libby
*** Cheney
George Bush

Lying about reasons for going to war with Iraq (Uranium, false claims about Iraq''s supposed weapons of mass destruction.)
Torture in Abu Ghraib.
The treasonous exposure of a CIA agent by White House officials. (Plamegate)
Halliburton%u2019s overcharging and outright fraud for services in Iraq
Enron
Katrina
Illegal wiretapping
Political influence peddling
*** scandals
Election tampering
Ballooning federal debt
Economy in a tailspin

And these are just for starters%u2026

Enough is enough, America is ready for change!

A lot of you need to do some research before making your biased remarks. Listen to Laura Bush.

Criticism for "For the first time in my life" comments.

On February 18, 2008, Obama commented in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that "For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback." Later that evening she reworded her stump speech in Madison, Wisconsin, saying "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I''m really proud of my country, and not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change." Several commentators criticized her for her remarks, and the campaign issued a statement that "anyone who heard her remarks ... would understand that she was commenting on our politics". In June 2008 Laura Bush indicated she thought Michelle Obama''s words had been misrepresented in the media "I think she probably meant I''m ''more proud,'' you know, is what she really meant," adding, "I mean, I know that, and that''s one of the things you learn and that''s one of the really difficult parts both of running for president and for being the spouse of the president, and that is, everything you say is looked at and in many
cases misconstrued."
